Does anyone know anything about true religion jeans? I have tried to convince myself that the jeans i purchased last week are legit, but i am beginning to doubt myself.

Here is the link to the ebay seller.

I have made lots of purchases on ebay and have had success. I guess my dumb a$$ didn't realize that people sell ripoff products on ebay.

I can post pictures for you experts to look at. I have googled ripoff jeans, but my eye cannot distinguish the difference b/w real and fake concerning jeans.

Thanks-

At that price, those TRs are almost certainly fake. That being said, it's not like you're paying for quality when you buy True Religion; you're paying for the name and design. So if you can't tell they're fake, no one else can either, and mission accomplished for $85 instead of $250.

The only way to avoid getting ripped off on eBay is to buy brands that aren't counterfeited, or become such an expert in denim that you can't be ripped off by fakes, and at that point of expertise, you wouldn't be buying True Religion anyway :p

I think www.authenticforum.com can help you more than the DJ Forum with this. It's tough to tell from the pictures but probably 99% of TR, Seven and other hyper-popular brands sold on eBay are fake. My ex-girlfriend had a pair of Sevens she bought on eBay for $20 that were indistinguishable from the real thing, so the quality might not be an issue. If that's the case, who gives a sh¡t if they're fake? The REAL problem is that you tried buying any TR jeans at all...

Expensive jeans are a lot more comfortable IMO. I was trying to save money, but it looks like i got scammed. Being a new ebayer, i hope i can somehow recoup my money. If not, i guess i learned a valuable lesson.

Thanks-
