Facial hair

Ok so here's the deal. I'm working on losing weight, but for the time being I have sort of a fat face. Not grotesque (like fat rolls and 5 chins), but just round and somewhat chubby. My question is, is it better for people with chubby faces to be clean shaven, or keep their facial hair?

I have asked alot of girls about this issue. All of them have told me the same thing. They don't care whether or not you have facial hair but you should at least shave your neck. Every girl told me that neck hair is disgusting. Iasked them about guys with beards and they told me If you have a beard keep it short and trimmed (the osama bin laden look is not attractive). I know several girls who love guys with sideburns but they told me whatvever you do do not get elvis burns. I currenctly flaunt a moustache and gotee.

i personally like the 3mm shadow. Not only it looks clean but you have just enough facial hair to look 'manly'

I have sideburns, but of course not as long as the ones Elvis has. It fits with the shape of my face and with my haircut, I shaved them a couple of weeks back to see again what it looks like without em, grew em back right away I'm not the cleancut guy when it comes to facial hair, I shave though, but not every day, I just can't find the time to shave, should get me one of those electrical razorz for in the car lol ;D I mean sometimes I get up and I have like 10 minutes to get to my first class lol, as long as I'm not going there nekid I'm happy In my opinion the girls don't really mind I don't shave every single day, I have a large amount of girl friends and if I'm wearing something or doing some freaky **** with my hair or I just look like **** after a heavy night and they don't like, they just say it, so if it bothered them that I don't shave as often as I should I think they would let me know.. I would love to hear Tamales' opinion. And also a girls opinion. (yeah T you're a woman )

So I let it grow, just to experiment, and then I kept it
It's also original because it is blonde and white/gray on the chin, and it's a rare thing in my area (Erik the Red look)

Trimmed to 2 mm.

I think now I'll have a beard for ever

I thought I should grow a goatee for a show I was in. So, I grew a Cypher esque (from the Matrix.) goatee. One older woman told me I looked older, which was good, I guess. I got tired of the upkeep, and it started looking too hairy. I finally got to shave it off.

I'm going for a stubbly look now. I shave at 5 PM so I usually have a little stubble when I'm out.

I haven't found much of a difference, other than it's easier to clean my face without the Goatee than with one. I think I look a bit more professional. A lot of places are finicky about facial hair.

Now with the stubble, (Mixed in with a slightly better style) more people are starting to talk to me a bit more. I'm getting a few more hellos from the ladies.

The point is, it's up to you. But keep in mind your audience.

If you deal with kids, keep in mind they can be scared of bearded guys.

If you're always taking clients to dinner or lunch, and you do decide to grow a goatee, keep it clean and trimmed.

No neck hair.

If you are in the entertainment business, find out what others are doing. Look the part.

A lot of Magicians have goatees for example. Why? It's an association thing. The whole "bearded devils and imps" image. The olden day images of magicians all seem to have goatees, beards and mustaches. It adds to the mysterious look.

If you're an accountant, and you have messy looking scraggly hair and a badly grown goatee/beard, you may lose some business.

It's all about image.

Just keep this kind of stuff in mind.

If you grow a goatee, the good thing is you can shave it and be clean faced in about 10 minutes if you don't like it.

Feel free to ask a lot of women about what they think. This is one of those things where you can usually trust a woman on; but ask a lot of them. Then do what you like.

I used to have a mustache, but it wasn't that great with the ladies. Now I have really short hair with sideburns and a cleanshaven face (and neck) I've noticed that girls are more interested. Its a hassle though, having to shave everyday... Im used to it, but I wouldn't mind not having to shave at all.

Short Stubble might be a good idea. I should try it out one day.

depends...preferably woman's select choose...it varies between women...on chubby guys im not sure but goatees r so fricken hott...grrrr...
