I just wanted to post this technique that I've used and am trying to finetune to pick up women on facebook. I look at other peoples friends list and message any girl who may be attractive saying whats up or whats good. I send this out to maybe like 50 girls or so. Then I just wait for the replies and let the interested girls reply and take it from there. Any good ideas on how to finetune this or take the next steps? Normally, I wind up meeting the real interested girls because they make it easy. One thing that may work is this new line I used this morning to get this cute girls number by saying "that she looks like she'd be cool to chill with and we should get together during the break. Give me your number and I'll let you know whatsup". I've been able to meet around 25 girls so far, but I want to perfect this. Lets make this into a good facebook pickup thread.

dont do this, i did when firstbook first came out, pretty much backfired on me...it came across as creepy , and needy, and gave the girls the wrong impression of me....... a person with high value, would not go out of their way to msg random ppl on facebook....

i just got back from south america. i met tons of girls like this there on myspace. i just tell them i am traveling alone and ask them if they want to meet up. a white guy in south america=mucho vagina. it was great, i highly recommedn doing something like this if you visit brazil, iceland, south africa or anywhere. just message them just to say hi and if they want to hang out, and most likely, every girl will coz you are from a different country

I've actually met a few cool people on facebook poker, it's pretty chill and you see their picture already. When you log on, you can see what friends are playing and join their table. And, it's not as creepy as sending out a hundred messages to random people.

The 'technique' that works best for me is to actually meet girls in person through friends or at work or school and THEN hit them up on facebook/myspace. It's a pretty good way to filter out the flakey ones too.
facebook is the internet. unless you can travel dont use it. depends on what you want, ltr or ons. its 100 times better if you ask in person, not online. the way you look into a girls eyes when you ask her for a number will beat facebook approaches.
In some ways this is true, but in reality, you could easily say the same thing about cold approaches. A guy with options doesn't go out of his way to pick up chicks at all. So I'm not really sure why sending out mass facebook greetings is such a bad idea. Just wanted to add that facebook is way better than myspace for this. This summer i met about 5 or 6 girls in about a month doing this while myspace I dont even get many responses. The facebook pickup works good for me because I have the looks but lack the approaching skills. But hey its a numbers game the more girls you message the more girls u'll get
