Agree, but I say let people socially identify however they wanna identify. At the end of the day, we all know how science truly classifies all this.Eph said:Saw this the other day. Personally, I think its stupid. You're either male or female. Well, excluding hermaphrodites. Whether you were born that gender is a different story, but its ridiculous to have all of these other options.
I agree that people should do what they want.Jaylan said:Agree, but I say let people socially identify however they wanna identify. At the end of the day, we all know how science truly classifies all this.
Never try to read a woman's mind. It is a scary place. Ignore her confusing signals and mixed messages. Assume she is interested in you and act accordingly.

This confused the sh*t out of me just reading it. No telling what it does to little kids.Desdinova said:A female friend of mine ended up with a new bf. I went over there for a bbq and he had his two daughters over. I didn't know much about him, so I started conversing with him to see if I could get to know him better.
He went over to his youngest daughter (in her 20s) and whispered something in her ear. She screamed "THAT'S NOT FAIR!" and ran into the house crying. I'm thinking, "Okay, WTF did he just say to her?
While she was in the house crying, he told me that he was transgender. He used to be a woman and had all the surgeries that would make him into a man. He had facial hair and everything.
His oldest daughter is a lesbian, and has just brought a baby girl into the world with her partner. Both of his daughters call him "Mom", but have been requested to avoid the term in the presence of people who aren't "in the know". The problem the family was facing was trying to figure out what the grandchildren should call him.
In keeping with this....how did the oldest lesbian daughter obtain their baby? Adoption/sperm bank? And furthermore, if what some people say about gays is correct (that they are born with it), is there any evidence yet of heterosexuality among gay couples' kids? And I wonder if it's possible to 'teach' gayness? Because you can bet that most gay parents are not teaching sexual freedom. That in and of itself is hypocritical.Desdinova said:This is where I have a problem. We're manufacturing humans that are technically unfit for reproduction. Being gay may be a natural thing that occurs, but manufacturing humans that nature would otherwise kill off (eventually) isn't natural.
Sperm bankspeed dawg said:In keeping with this....how did the oldest lesbian daughter obtain their baby? Adoption/sperm bank?
No I do not. They don't choose to be that way, the same way we don't choose to be straight. Those folks are a natural occurrence despite being more rare.speed dawg said:I agree that people should do what they want.
But let me ask you this - do you think that being a transgender, gay, lesbian, etc. is a perversion/abnormal/etc.?
If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.
Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.
This will quickly drive all women away from you.
And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.
I agree we shouldn't look down on them. They are people just like anyone else. But we all have the right to judge whoever we want. "Judge" is a word that's misused and thrown around. We all judge every day. If I don't like the teachers at a certain school, I'm taking my kid elsewhere, therefore I 'judged' the teacher. H*ll yes I judge, and do it willingly and have that right.Jaylan said:I may not understand them completely, but its not my place to look down or judge them.
How convenient of you now to recognize the right to judge when you are the one doing the judging. Where is your understanding and respect for the right to judge when others pass judgment on various issues? Your tolerance seems pretty low in those cases as we all know.speed dawg said:I agree we shouldn't look down on them. They are people just like anyone else. Ah yes, negative judgments which put others down. How mature. The thing is, Ive known non-straight people who dont fit into "flamer" stereotypes, and they still are treated unfairly and with bias despite wanting to live their lives in peace. If gays come around me, I likely won't even know it unless they tell me. Unless they are those true flamer types, when, again, I will judge them because they are acting like idiots. I judge them as idiots and choose to go the opposite direction. Nothing wrong with that. They can do the same to me.
I take it you dont have many, (or any), non-straight friends or acquaintances. The reality is that the bulk of these folks arent looking for attention or handouts. They seek equal treatment in society without being looked down up or treated poorly by society's true idiots. It's only when the gays/transgenders/etc. start wanting advantages/handouts/attention, that people start judging them NEGATIVELY. And it's really not about being gay, it's more about being an attention wh*re. Which gets back to what this facebook deal is really all about. So when you seek attention, don't be surprised when you get it.
Ah yes, the "I know I can't win, so I'll announce that I'm leaving the debate to save face" retort. Predictable.Jaylan said:This will be my last reply to you regarding this issue. Because I know better than to get involved in a circular debate with you involving this topic.
How? I didn't criticize them to their face. Only thoughts inside my own head. I didn't hurt them in the least. Well, I do deprive them of my company I suppose.Jaylan said:Ah yes, negative judgments which put others down.
Predictable shaming. But nonetheless, I know some gay people. I've NEVER seen them discriminated against. You could make a case that kids in high school get bullied and all, but in my experience it's never because of race, gender, sexuality, etc. It's ALWAYS about perceived weakness in character. That's what bullies want to exploit more than anything.Jaylan said:I take it you dont have many, (or any), non-straight friends or acquaintances. They already can and do.Jaylan said:These folks basically want to be able to do all the things straight folks do, without it being a big deal. Its facebook, and not really a big deal anyways. People just want the ability to self identify in ways they deem fit for them socially.
More predictable shaming. Move on, nothing to see here.Jaylan said:Why are you even giving it attention yourself if you dont want to associate with these people? Just dont care about it. Simple. When I saw the story come up in my facebook feed, I shrugged it off without comment. All it means is that now a whole bunch of people can self-identify the way they want. Its no big deal at all.
Apparently, dude needs a vocabulary lesson so he can learn the difference between a shaming technique and his actual opinion.Facebook Now Has 50... 02-19-2014 12:21 PM Jaylan the old "i don't like your opinion so I'm just going to call it all shaming" routine. Classic fail lol
Sexual orientation (and preference), is very different from gender self-identification. For example, a Cisgender Female can be heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, pansexual, etc. If you look at the list, these orientations (aka sexual preferences) did not appear in the gender list that the OP provided.HoneyHitter said:This is a list of sexual preferences, not genders. The human specie knows two genders: male and female. No one is born as anything else.
Huxley and Orwell were right.PairPlusRoyalFlush said:We're living in a brave new world system of drugs(prescription and illegal), hedonism and intellectual degeneracy. Yet all the trappings of 1984 on the other hand with the police state, controlled debate/political system and endless war.

Yes there must be 50 Ways To State Your Gender.
Google is your friend. Its easy to understand really. It basically means male and females whos sex matches the traditional assigned gender identification and roles of their culture.JohnChops said:thats funny you mention manufacturing human beings that cant reproduce. this is the basis for a species to be wiped out in evolution. i thought it was an interesting tie in.
and wtf does cis mean, are you an organic molecule floating around in a solution "oh yes i must be cismale"..... duhfuq is wrong with this world.
oh that like when people think they are born in the wrong gender. i gotcha. i learned about that in a few psyc classes, it was interesting but kind of odd.Jaylan said:That made me lol xD
