Anyone else look through their FB friends suggestions and just assume all these chicks want some?

Yeah, I'm getting to that point now.

In fact, I'm rolling with it.

What a good mindset.

Because... maybe you know... if the chick has no "mutual friends" with you, they lookin' at your profile.

That's just how the algo works.

So why are 1/2 these hotties lookin' at middle-aged me?

Holdon.. bout to send some friend requests...

Don't overthink Facebook.

Facebook is a business... they make money selling advertising. The more interaction they have, the more they can charge advertisers. It is much more likely, understanding Facebook's purpose, is that they are recommending connections based on mutual interest and any buying patterns they might be able to discern from your profile and what you post... Example, if you post that you went to a concert, or you like to work out with lots of gym posts, etc then you'll get connection recommendations with people in your area that like and do the same things, because that is where you spend money. Facebook isn't doing this to improve your life, they are doing it to reinforce their ad profile.

Having said that, sure... if the OP wants to use Facebook as a way to meet women... go ahead... you miss 100% of the shots you do not take. Just be honest about what you are doing. Ask for a connection, if she connects... don't waste any time, just send her a PM and ask her out... chances are she'll just disconnect... which is fine... move on. Don't spend weeks creeping on her profile, that is bad for your mindset.

Bottomline, do what you fvcking want, but understand what you want is more than likely NOT what she wants. Good luck.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Or maybe they're just looking for attention and validation and you live far away enough not to look them up and embarrass them in front of their boring fiancé.
