What were you trying to accomplish by insulting her? Was that your C/F, or ****i/dumbass? Seriously. Well, you asked, so I am just pointing out. No, it was not good. It even looks as if you were purposely trying to come across as creepy.

Any attempt at humor, quickly turns a boring interaction for her, and a complete waste of time for both of you. Another reason why in person is better than FB/online is you get to qualify the chick on more than just her looks. If she has a stinky attitude, you don't need to even bother. Well, here, it would have not mattered.

Yes, some guys pull it off on FB, but they don't do what you just did; plus they probably look good to "hot" on their pictures. If you are "hot" looking, then I suggest you drop the shtick, and lead with your looks.

Yes, but your follow up was poor.

She was interested up until that point.

Tone it down a bit. You only need enough qualification until she is interested. She was being cute with you, and she even wrote you twice in a row without you replying first. (Usually a good IOI.) That's when you change it up a notch, ask her a few personal questions and change the frame a little sexual. Make it obvious you are trying to hit on her, don't bash her.

I hate to bring up MM, but the system does have one thing right..

Attract. Comfort. Seduce.

Don't forget the comfort part. Once she is attracted tone down the games. There's no need for them. That's when you make her feel comfortable around you. You need this if you are ever going to hang out with her a lone.. after that, escalate and seduce.

That's horrid man. You're trying too hard. Forget the canned openers. Just be yourself. Just remember to be confident, and remember the attract, comfort, seduce routine. You need to identify which stage you are in and adapt to it comfortably. (Which will take time.)

As for the whole "how can you tell if a girl is interested online".. Some people can't. But I like to think of myself as extremely intuitive.

Read your OP again. Notice how she starts kind of "eh" but she is also very friendly. You drop the opener on her and she becomes more receptive. She says "lol" she also says "ahh you suck" this is clearly her flirting. This is the equivalent of a girl playfully punching you in the arm. Also, as I already mentioned, she wrote you two times in a row. She actually thought she lost your attention for a moment.. so she tried to regain it by writing you again. You had her in the palm of your hand. But then you lost control of it. Notice right where I said "you lost it" is where she becomes cold. She starts giving you one word answers. You also repeatedly responded to her coldly and insulted her which didn't make the situation any better.

Learn to know where you're at and adapt to it quickly. It's going to take time, but read everything I said carefully. It will all makes sense eventually.

How about instead of creating a bunch of fake scenarios, questions, and situations like the canned stuff PUA's do, you find some of her hobbies, likes, passions from her profile and/or pictures, or if you have a friend in common, and start a thread with that. You will have at least a 50% chance of initiating a conversation if you lead with something real, that she might actually find interesting and able to relate to. Plus, it will come across as organic and not forced and creepy.

It is all those fake situations that add to the creepy factor when girls get contacted out of nowhere, by random dudes they don't even know. I read what you typed, and even though I know you are just a normal guy, ok well, maybe I don't know you are, but let's say you are, it gives me the heeve jeevees imagining myself in your or her situation if that is the type of stuff you are using to force conversation.
