Assuming you find a girl you like her profile, would you add them as a friend or message them first?

I was told about a girl (who is my friend's cousin) who is on FB and just want to play it right. Looking for LTR here.

Appreciate your opinion!

dont add them until you have met them. it looks creepy just adding these girls to your list without knowing who they are. Dont even bother messaging as well. go out and met people IRL.

Facebook hides your message unless you are friends with the person. It goes to an "other" folder that does not give notifications, so no one ever sees it.

Add them first, then message. It will only appear creepy to her if she had no interest, regardless of how you met her. If she's interested, she will respond. It's about how you feel anyways, not worrying about if she'll be creeped out.

I strongly disagree. 3 out of my last 4 lays have been through FB messenger. 1 of which added me and sent me the first message. Fvcked her on the 2nd date. It is an EASY tool for getting chicks. The key is, just like with texting, show some interest and then see how she reacts. If she doesnt show interest, walk away and dont message her to death.

If she accepts your friend request it doesnt necessarily mean she is interested.

After she accepts the friend request, I normally send this (unless I actually know her or have met her IRL):

"I thought you looked familiar but now I realize that we dont know each other yet IRL".

If she responds back, and not all will, I just let it play out. Normally she will say something like "yeah I dont think we know each other lol". At tha point I say "I am Glassguy, so I guess now we have been formally introduced ;)"

I had a very cute chick add me on fb yesterday, today I sent her this message sequence:

Me: I thought you looked familiar but now I dont think we actually have met
her: I thought the same about you lol
Me: Oh yeah? I'm Glassguy. At least now we have officially met. Nice pics btw
her: Thank you, that is very sweet.
Her: So what do you do?
Me: I own a glass business. And youre welcome
Her: Oh that sounds cool.
Her: So where are you from?
Me: Yeah it pays the bills. I am from _____. You?

That was over the course of about 3 hours as I spaced out my responses. When they start asking questions, its a good sign.

Once she responds back I will either ask her what she likes doing for fun based on her pics or something about how she knows a mutual friend who I know would give me a spot on review. And take it from there. If she keeps showing interest, I will ask her what her drink of preference is and tell her I know a place that stocks it and set up a meet up for drinks.

Bing, bam, boom. Simple.

Its just like ANY other interaction with a woman. Gauge her interest and proceed accordingly. Minimal chit chat and try to set up the date, proceed accordingly.

One problem I might encounter with this one is that she works with a chick I am meeting up for drinks with on Friday lol. Hopefully they arent that close but I know they are in each other's fb pics

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Nice! Yea, it's absolute murder on FB. Completely different animal, than typical old. Rather than scoping profiles, where a woman concocts a profile, that puts her absolute best foot forward, you usually get to see years worth of posts on her FB showing her true personality, if you wanted. Great way to filter the drama queens and daily thirst pic posting attention hors.

I hear you on the Glassguy,

in my experience I have had female friends on my list come up to me and say do you know so and so on your FB list? I say yes i do. and they reply with "This guy says he knows you and he added me on FB, this guy is a creeper. why would he add me, this guy is a weirdo" and the go ahead and block the dude.

The only way I add females to my FB is when I meet in real life.

Attraction brings interest.

If she finds you attractive, she will have interest.

If a guy that looks like Brad Pitt sends her a FR and they have 20 mutual friends, she isnt going to tell her friends about it and call him a creeper. She is going to accept it a respond to his message when he sends it, if that is the kind of look she is into.

BTW......they dont block me. A few may not respond to my first message, but thats ok. I dont send another one. I have also had a few that respond weeks later. No big deal. Maybe they were going back and forth with another guy at the time and lost interest in him and messaged me. Who knows.

One thing I dont do on FB that I have done on OLD is send mass messages. I am very selective in who I message. Chicks know chicks who know chicks. Sending mass messages out will ultimately get a few of them talking about you. Thats when you look like a creeper.

Didn't even think about this. Great advice, especially if one were just starting out to build his rotation. Or anytime really.

@Glassguy, so you would recommend just send her a friend request then follow up with a message? We have 3 mutual friends on FB, we both are relative to them, but the girl don't know yet!

Personally, I would send a friend request and if she accepts it, wait a day or two and shoot her a message.

"Hey ____, thank for the add and nice pics. Just curious, how do you know so and so" and go from there.

I've said this a dozen times. NEVER put your girlfriends on Facebook. It kills attraction.

You want them to see baby pictures of you? Your grandmother? Your aunt? Come on.

Facebook is for high school friends, not people you met last Thursday. Especially with all this Harvey Weinstein crap going on.

It's ok to put exes on there, and you might stir up some chemistry, but giving new women access to your every deliberation makes you seem extremely ordinary, extremely quickly.

The biggest problem is you never know what she read or saw, but need to assume everything.

It's also getting old. Most girls are using Snapchat and Instagram, which you should also avoid. That stuff is for girls.

Don't be posting chit you don't want ppl to see if you're worried. And baby pics? Lmao. Dude it's almost way too easy to slay on FB for it to "kill attraction".

I agree. The past 3 years I have gotten laid countless times through FB interaction. It's much easier than OLD because there is already common ground with mutual friends.

I have a date tomorrow night with a smoking hot 27 year old (I am 40 but look young). A small amount of chit chat and friendly banter through FB was the platform that set it up.

2 months ago I went out with an 8. One date, to a college football game. We had fun but really didn't hit it off. (This is how keeping it laid back, fun and cool plays out with a woman who it just doesn't work with too btw)....

Yesterday she sent me a FB message that her best friend thinks I'm very attractive and would be sending me a FB friend request. An hour later I get it. Attractive blonde, 8-8.5, a few messages back and forth and we are meeting next week for drinks (I'm tied up till then).
When she sent me the friends request:

Me: Hiya Amber's friend lol
Her: hey! I guess she told you that I would be sending you a friend request?
Me: Yes and that you wanted to have my children
Her: are you serious?
Me: no, but I think I might be right
Her: bahaha......shouldnt we do drinks first?

And from there it was EASY.

Those that don't use fb to get laid aren't using it correctly or they aren't attractive. It's the same principal as texting only you don't have to ask for the number, it's EASIER and common for women to do the approaching and you just keep it simple and make the intent of the date.

And don't have pics on fb that you don't want potential plates to see in the first place. Every chick that I'm friends with on fb that's attractive is a potential plate.

Whalla.

Exactly. And women that are opposed to old, usually have no problem meeting through FB. It's just like old, without the stigma associated with it. I also, use it for spontaneous parties and bonfires. Nice banter btw. Ppl underestimate how well bantering like that online translates over to quick wittedly thinking on your feet offline. If one wasn't a natural flirt or speaker irl, messaging and texting will go a long way in honing your skills.

Not one solitary fck is given and to his credit he spins em ALL

so just goes to show what reputation can do to a woman, same behaviour from another guy would make her do one

Hell's Angels are pu$$ies. Trust me, I've seen them in the free world and in prison. They just sit there like gay wads.

Don't post stuff I don't want every single person to see? What if I want most of them to see it?

I use Facebook to tell all the single moms they are costing taxpayers too much money.

At LEAST make sure you have had sex first and that SHE asked YOU for your FB. Asking a girl for her FB is gayer than asking her to go shopping for shoes.

good thread I wonder about this.. I was delivering a package at a hotel one day and the girl at the front desk was very cute I asked her for her last name she did not spell it out so she wrote her name on a sheet of paper her first and last name she's Russian. I saw her profile on facebook but I never acted on it if I should add her or send a message.. What do you think?
