i'm a naturally thin guy. but i bulked up to 165, i'm at 5'10". i run and lift often. i have now tight abs and good build.

the only thing that hasn't caught up is my face in terms of bulk. BIG DEAL you may say, but people somehow don't notice my shoulders or chest when they see my face looks like it shrunk down (probably from cardio).

i looked at pictures from a party and it does look like i'm really skinny if you just look at my face.

will doing squats and deadlifts more often increase HGH and testosterone to bulk up my face more?

I'm guessing that you can't really "bulk up" your face. Most of the visible size in your face is fat tissue, the muscles aren't really trainable and probably aren't easy to increase in size. I have a feeling that you're just going to have to deal with it.

At 5'10 and 165, you are still a relatively thin guy. I'm 10lbs lighter than you, same height and I look like a stick sometimes.

i DO think that doing compound exercises like squats and deadlifts
cause a global increase in muscle mass, so they probably increase
some muscle bulk in your face, just like everywhere else in your body.

too bad you can't selectively increase fat in your face :)

Can't really train the muscles in your face. If you use AAS or HGH etc frequently or in high doses it can dramatically change your face. I'll try and dig up a picture that compares Ronnie Coleman to how he looked when he was 20, and how he looks now. I doubt anyone here will go to that extreme in terms of substance assistance but just so you can get an idea.

heavy compounds like squats and deads increase your hGH production and testosterone levels, in turn making other skeletal muscles beef up. your facial muscles are not excluded from this.

I'm going with Skilla on this one...you're still pretty slim. I'd say you're best bet is to do tons of heavy compounds and also do deads and shrugs, to bulk up your neck area.

gaining more mass will be tough without losing some six pack. in the winter i don't really care but the six pack is nice for the summer :)

at 5'10" should I really be about 180 ?

i'm a super thin guy, going over 170 will be tough.

I would like to get to 170 before football season, and hopefully 180-185 by next summer. It's only tough if you think it tough. If you eat, lift and sleep like you should, you'll be able to get up to 170 within the next few months or so.
