My ex broke up with me 8 months ago. I sent her a very angry mail afterwards, since she broke up with an e-mail. I apologized for the mail and went into the 60 days NC rule. Completed it successfully. Then I initiated a few times through mail. Maybe 4-5 mails over 6 months. First was a "Happy birthday". Last one was a simple Happy new year. She didn't answer. I'm not begging her to come back to me (I did ask for closure before though) so what's the deal if she answers?. Would that be a signal that she's still in love with me?. Is it normal or is she being completely disrespectful?. I mean, a cold "Happy new year for you too" would be enough. I'm tempted to call her out on her behavior because I'm OK with the fact that she doesn't want to be with me but can't she answer a f***** new year mail??????

Yes, I know the advice, move on, forget about her, don't ever mail her again... maybe I just don't understand the code, I don't want to be her friend but I don't see why we can't she be polite to me (I didn't cheat on her of something)

I don't understand the fact that she was such a good girl the time we were together and then she turned into a total b***tch. I know, it happens, but it makes no sense. Either she was a bi*atch all the time and I didn't notice or she gone insane, there's no third option here.

Lol dude! After 60 days of NC you are not suppose to initiate contact. By this you actually showed that even after 60 days I wasn't able to forget you. You wasted your NC. And yup I can tell that you have 0 females with you as friends or girlfriends or f buddy. She's never going to be polite to a loser. Tell you what... I get ignored like this by women too. The difference is you're going off on a rant about how angry you are because your ex who dumped you that you mistakenly think you've gone NC on, don't want to be friends with according to yourself and who has very clearly moved on from you is ignoring your pointless messages. I hate to break your notion but you don't need to be older than I am to call your behaviour out for what it is which is both weak and annoying... OK if you just sent those messages because you were in a good mood, shrugged after a day of no reply and moved on, that'd be pointless but it would at least shown you have moved on with your life.

You're angry and confused because you're not aware of the medium being the message. You already have closure, you just won't accept it. You should be glad she's not responding so you can forget her and get a new girl who doesn't ignore you.

What you need to understand that this relationship is doomed. she doesn't care anymore. what you have done here is you came back to day 0. seeing your frustrations is example to yourself you haven't moved on. you should be over her by now.. why keeps this b1tch in your head? you deserve to be happy, she's gone and with another guy. what that tells you?

Sit with yourself and ask you this, is she sorry for what happened or is she happy with another dude? once you understand the answer you will be able to move one.

As I read your post it was hard to ignore that this was 8 months ago. Unless you were together for a decade there should be no reason to be still thinking about her after such a long time. As someone mentioned above, you should have used that time to better yourself meet new women and she would have been a distant memory. My advise to you is to delete all her contacts, email and accept reality. Closure is such a BS term. Only you can find closure. Learn from that experience and do it differently next time. Begging and chasing a woman who's treating you like **** is a sure way to lose any dignity you have left.

Yes, it would be nice to think people were well mannered enough to respond to a simple message but in this case, you're bangung your head against a brick wall.
