Ahh yes! My infamous explain this sh!t post.
I've come a long way since then. I've grown up a bit and learned very much. I wrote this post at a time when I was bitter, angry and confused. I couldn't figure out why behaving in ways that seemed Anti-DJ was successful.
Then I realized the truth. That mindset and attitude are the two things that matter most. Sure all of the techniques will help you transition from nice guy or AFC to Don Juan. But, the ultimate transition happens in your head over time. For some, it just takes longer.
That's why MOTU and others have posted that they now go against much of the advice on this board, and they're still successful. They tried everything, and in the course of doing so, . . . they evolved.
This is the case with my roomie. He's so good at the right attitude and mindset from years and years of experience, that he doesn't need the techniques. He has his own! And the best part is that he doesn't have to think about it or analyze. He just reacts according to his mindset and women love him for it. NOW, I very much admire him for his ability. I hope to be there eventually, but I need a lot more experience in order to get there.
I need most of this experience in dealing with the fear of rejection. I strongly believe that fear of rejection is the number one killer of all DJs.
Anyway, overcoming this fear, and doing many approaches will do more for giving you the right mindset than any technique. I'm really busy right now. (working two jobs, and a lot more...) So, I'm taking some time off from the women. But, in a couple of months, I'll be posting a lot on here about my experiences in dealing with rejections in order to achieve this mindset that will make me successful like my roomie.
Till then, I'm wishing you all the best. Have fun!
