Experiences With Balding

Im 6'1 feet tall, 17, pretty skinny, kinda losing my hair a bit so I buzzed it so so low. Im also asian so thats a pretty unique mix. Going to college next week, new people never seen them before. My parents HATE my haircut, but I think its ok. I mean ****, it cant be worse then my half comb over.

Confidence over looks perhaps, but I'm not sure. I think I look half decent. But hey, im going to continue posting on this post about my experiences with this. I mean for sure I'm going to get alot of attention for sure, theres alot of asians at my school. I doubt theres going to be any more then me who is buzzcutted to the limit. Im unsure if its going to be negative or positive attention, but I know im going to get it. Worse comes to worse, I get known as the ugly bald asian guy. I mean, I don't even give a ****. Should be interesting, will keep you guys posted.

But guys, please post your own bald/balding experiences, and how you dealt with this.

I started noticing my baldness around your age. I lived with it, was pretty self conscious for years - until last year when I finally decided to take a plunge and shave it. Its worked out for me. Consider that as an option.

The other options are:

1.) Live with it for now (temporary solution)
2.) Start buying drugs (Propecia, Rogaine) to help treat it (costs some $)
3.) Look into hair transplants (lots of $$$$)

I also recommend you go to a dermatologist and see what he says also, to determine if you are really balding - he will likely give you the options I listed up there.

There is no doubt in my mind that I made the right decision in shaving my head. Good luck to you.

In my experience, it seems college girls like guys who appear just a little older (mid to late 20s). I guess part of that is because they have more money than college guys, but girls are also attracted to their maturity. See if you can use it to your advantage.

Shaving your head isn't really going to conceal the fact that you're bald by the way. Unless you are going to shave it with perfect discipline, you will at times have follicles that will show the hair pattern.

LOL no no, I already shaved. I was just curious about this. NO, I would never use rogaine lol, I can't care how ****ty my head looks bald, no rogaine lol. No hair transplants lol.

LOL, I don't even know if I'm balding or not, It wasn't like normal balding. But its probably anterior, instead of normal (I researched). I don't care, I don't even want hair anymore.

And im working on that pic, my cellphone camera is having problems.

Im looking at some pictures on facebook of this girl whom I failed with, lol even i know I acted like a chode but thats becuz im currently on chode recovery mode, and shes with this skinny dude with a six pack. Like me, except he has like long blond hair and looked like a girly. So I see the comments and her friends are like oooh la la with a heart and ****.

That got me wondering...am I supposed to put myself down? Am I supposed to walk less proudly then that dude, just becuz I may not fit societies standards for what's attractive? Or because I don't have hair on my head (VERY VERY short buzz cut, like non existent) Well maybe I don't want to put myself down... like wtf.

Sure, I don't look nearly like George Clooney (I give myself a modest 6.5), but that does that mean? Am I supposed to be like every other chode/regular guy who is pissed off because he think hes bad looking?

Am I supposed to say, "Okay, GC is better looking then me, boo-hoo-hoo me?"

Maybe I don't want to feel sorry for myself. WTF society values, sometimes I think I should tell you to go huck yourself.

My motto is..The less it grows the shorter it goes.

Mine is almost the way it was in High school but a tiny bit receded. The tides gone out a bit...but I don't give a sh!t. You dudes worry about non-important things way too much.

Whats wrong with caring how you want to look? Some guys, especially guys in their late teens - early twenties who start noticing they're going bald will WORRY. Its perfectly normal. Not everyone wants to go through the process of male-pattern baldness, not when they have a full set on their head. It makes it worse if they're new to all PU and Seduction theory.

Take pride in how you look, if you dont think bald will suit you. Do something about it. Get to you're dermatologist and get him/her to provide you with antidotes to either slow the process or re-gain.

I think the shaved look on a white guy looks bad. It really can't look any worse just keeping what you have short and trimmed. Unless you're ripped and you can get away with it.

OP. Hit the gym and bulk up. Dress fly and be out going. Don't worry about the bald thing, new people always accept you for what they see now.

My roommate in college started going bald at 24 and it took him 3 years to finally shave it...now he said it was the best thing he ever did. Glad to see it didn't take you that long.

My hair is thinning and slowly balding and I don't care and don't plan to shave it if it ever completely disappeared. I've had my head completely shaved, and I looked like a terrorist/skinhead...a completely different person. I have an intense looking face to begin with. People looked afraid of me, and not in the good way. Add in the fact that I have strong facial hair even when I shave it.

Luckily I have thick hair, so for all I know, it could just be severely thinning and will never fully bald. The only part I know for sure that's balding is the back of my head...and I don't care about that, people don't even notice when your hair's short to begin with.

I just think the shaved look only looks good on black guys. Number 1 all over is a different story...at least there's something there.

Anyways doitagain. I don't think it matters. For me at least, I realize that theres a chance it may not look too good. Its not about that. Its about a choice the choice to cut it off and having the balls to do it. And realizing at the end of the day, even if the *****es dont **** you, your left with yourself.

So maybe in a few months from now, when I'm crying in my room alone about how no one wants to **** me, I will realize that I will always have me. And maybe self love is all i need.

That been said. Its just sex. Craigslists got some great hookers.

I was just kidding OP. Looks don't matter unless you're going after a young 10 (or a woman who acts like she's a 10 even if she isn't.) No matter what the guys on this forum say...you usually see Ken and Barbie couples with young HB10s...or men that we might think don't look so great, but to women are 10s.

The good news is, when you get older, women have a different idea of what's good looking and what isn't.

For now though, if you want the shallow girls your age, just hit the gym and wear cool clothes. I'd recommend buying a tailored suit and wearing it when you go out sarging.

No, you're doing fine. There will be plenty of people that will tell you to just go kill yourself, get plastic surgery, and even one guy that will tell you to start dealing narcotics to get the girls. Don't listen to any of them. Maintain that current attitude and you'll do just fine. I'm sure you pull more tail than half the guys here, and personally I envy your attitude and confidence.
