Ex- what do I do?

this girl broke up with me on the last day of first semester-
school starts this week, and since I'm relatively new, we have a lot (a *lot*) of mutual friends. How should I handle this? I've been doing NC since the day of breakup.

Just play it cool, be cordial if you see the ex. Hello, how are you, that's it. No long discussions.

Be above the situation. Speak graciously about her with others even if you're pissed (very important). Your friends will respect you even if (and perhaps especially if) she has been blabbing away about the relationship. They will observe your class and respect you tremendously for it.
