I am not a cynical poster here on SS. I always try to look at the bright side, but I also try to be realistic. And after rereading your other thread, I have to say.... Regardless of the advice you get here, I'm pretty sure you're gonna get back in touch with her (probably tonight). I appreciate your honesty regarding your feelings about her, and it is because of that honesty that I drew my conclusion. You seem to want her back more than anything else, and now your main concern is probably how not to mess things up when you're back together.

I don't know what else to say, other than you have not experienced enough pain at this point. Maybe you will have after round two. I am not trying to put you down, and I'm sure she has some great qualities. But the foundation of this relationship was built on the sand, and the result is going to be a shaky balancing act in your future if you take her back.

NOPE. The vast majority of men are too chicken-sh*t to go NC with an Ex anyway. Its usually the woman who goes NC on the guy. Most men don't have the guts.

NC means NC. I had a similar situation last year but it was a half-baked apology (sorry you got hurt, not, sorry I hurt you).
I too thought the mature and manly thing to do would be to graciously accept the apology and contact her.
But the advice I got on here from Danger and a few others was to go ghost and not reply.
I took that advice and it's the best thing I could've done.

Or, if not, just don't reply, no matter how much she grovels for your attention. I've been in a similar situation, and fųck all that 'let's be friends' bųllṣhit.

Something happened with the new guy and she is looking to fall back on you. Now is your chance to show backbone and that you are just fine with the decision SHE made that she wants out of the relationship. Her wish was granted, now she can go be a free bird, and so can you.

When you do see that other friend both you and her share, don't be fooled, she is siding more with her female sister than with you, so make sure you tell her you are happy, going on dates, and do not show you are affected. This will destroy your ex's ego.
