This is some serious shyt here going on folks. The world is crumbling.

It's sad to say, but i believe most people in general including guys have self image issues. And most arent happy with themselves...whether they seek validatioin, low self esteem, self conscious issues.

Ill admit no ones perfect. But even some of my closest friends have issues, mainly cause they make it an issue. Blah blah, my spine's weak, im short, im fat, ugly, no one talks to me, im skinny...the list goes on. Honestly im sort of sick of hearing ppl wine about their problems, especially my friends. When they get mopey and **** they cling to me like glue. Moping around's not gonna do ****, go out there and deal with it, if it's skinny workout, if you think you're ugly change your wardrobe. Sometimes i wish i could i meet someone normal who has his **** together.

That's why so much AFC's in the world exist. Every man's been pussified to the core that their ego can never save them. It's a battle they'll never win cause the battle is within themselves.

In the college class setting...the guys talk to the guys and the girls talk to the girls..wtf is up with that? At least chat up the ladies, bust their balls or anything. Group of guy buddies chilling in the corner of the room or hallway, little ****fest going on, woohoo. And then there are guys who try, but instead make friends with the girls and goes LJBF land.

We could sit here arguing that society is at fault, parents are at fault, we're at fault.

But honestly everyone's at fault. We lost track of who we are and we don't know where we're heading.

Almost anybody who's living in the Western world, and faces media bombs day after day will have self-steem issues. That's why girl's go anorexic, and guys run to buy the latest brand of sneakers/pink shirt/car. Otherwise you are not "in". Anybody asking how to look "fly" or stuff like that is just asking for better ways to be part of the sheep (as commendable it might be that someone wants to look presentable).

Shyt, even the guys who think they're above the crowd because they go quoting Tyler from "Fight Club" just want deep in their hearts to have chieseled abs like Brad Pitt... and later go to ebay and buy the"Fight Club" collectors dvd, not to mention a red leather jacket. Ironic, isn't it?

You honestly think that everybody has such incredibly low self esteem? I feel sorry for you. And I might add - stop projecting your self image problems upon other people.

Sure, everybody goes through periods in their life where they wonder who they are, or if they're doing 'the right thing". Some people float through their entire lives feeling this way, and those are the people who I feel the most sorry for.

The point is, there are plenty of perfectly secure people out there who don't feel the need to whine about their problems - or even feel that they don't have any problems (because they don't sweat the small stuff). Just because you happen to know a lot of people who like to complain about their problems, constantly seek validation from others, jump on fads, dream about having 'chisled abs' but never go to the gym, etc. does not mean that everyone is like that.

Stop over generalizing - and please stop rationalizing the fact that you allow yourself to be unhappy. If you don't like the way things are - fix it if you can, accept it if you can't, but either way get over it and stop *****ing.

I agree... but it's true with all people in general. Everyone has issues, but the important thing is to not let those issues dictate any part of how you go through life. For example, I have a big head. Literally. Is there anything I can do about it? Nope... so why let it bother me? People who get hung up on how they are "too short so they can't get girls" or "too ugly so they can't get girls" are just making excuses...
