I have a question for those of you who have dated a girl who is currently working in her dream job:

How does her attitude compare to all the other women you've dated? Is she just as difficult to deal with as the others?

I'm defining "dream job" as a job that someone picked because they are very passionate about it.

I'm only asking because I have been running into a lot of girls right now who aren't working in a job that they are very passionate about. They only did it for money and now seem bored.

It's case by case. Let me give you a negative case. In the past, I have dated few girls working in their dream jobs (professional jobs earning more than 300k a year). I would never recommend dating one of these types. They have survived the cutthroat corporate environment and had to use every means possible to get to where they are at. Most of the times, they have lost their femininity and are extremely anal on their needs (especially b/c everyone kisses up to them constantly at work). They feel they have a very hyperinflated value b/c coworkers who make just as much are constantly hitting on her. Most of these girls are way way way over their head in terms of expectations. Sosuave members complain about how girls are unrealistic on expectations....well you gotta see how bad it gets with these types. While I don't think it's unimportant, I place a lot less emphasis now on girls who are extremely motivated/passionate about their jobs or hobbies. Based on my experience, it doesn't necessarily translate into a quality girl.

I want to date one of these at some point, just to see what its like. I had thought that this type of woman would be different because they don't rely on men to buy them things.

I never had before, but i'm running into so many girls right now that work $hit jobs that I can't help but want to be with some one who actually has a passion for their job.

Maybe I'm being too picky. I guess I just want something different right now.

dude, for the women that love their jobs I'd say

Good: teachers, nurses, working with kids, are usually easier to deal with.

Bad: interior decorators, fashion designers, magazine editors, lawyers,

just what I've heard and seen with co-workers and myself.

You are suffering from the "grass is greener" syndrome. I'm not pointing fingers at you b/c I'm just as guilty as you are but in different areas...

As it is with everything, it's a case-by-case basis with these types of women. There were a few women (HB7ish) who proactively offer to split checks or pay for meals. But for the most part, these women still want men to hold them up on a pedestal and court them. It isn't highly unusual for a women making this money in the late 20s to early 30s to regularly splurge on meals that cost at least $100-$150/person. This is their baseline and this is what they expect on a regular basis. Even if you alternate and pay, it's going to cause a huge strain on your financial budget and unless you are somewhere near her financial status you are going to have a hard time keeping her for a LTR (STRs and ONS are totally different story).

These women have an incredibly hard time finding a guy who fits their definition of marriage or BF material. Their social status combined with hypergamy have priced themselves out of the market for anyone HB <7.5. When you look at it, it's almost similar to the average male situation for these women. The very top of the female corporate hierarchy is a very lonely place to be. For the high value male with decent game (and who can speak their "language") can easily deal with these types. You can find many quality girls HB 7 and under who are LTR/marriage material. However, the same rules apply with all groups in that you have to screen like hell to find the right girl, but in my opinion, the chances of landing a girl who is LTR/marriage material is higher in this group than others.

In terms of passion...yes they are passionate. They are so passionate/gung-ho and strong-willed that that they will be a lot less forgiving than the average woman when a man shows any signs of weakness. Remember, that these women are going to expect a lot more than what they have...so their definition of an "ambitious and passionate man" is going to be on a completely different level than what most people envision.

Lastly, in terms of the HB9+ women in this group....they either don't want to settle down, want a male who doesn't exist (if they are single), or are locked in with someone with incredible status. It is very very very tough to break into this subgroup.

Nothing is easy and there are always tradeoffs when making a choice.

.

Most high status women are delusional azzholes their femininity long since evaporated... men don't give a flying fvck about women's job, status, PHDs, Masters, whatever.

Men don't need ambition in women...we need them to be hot, kind, and feminine....dumb biyaches never learn.

We need a woman to be hot, subservient, helpful, kind, generous, and a good cook....in that order...cooking used to be higher on the list but we are in a feminist society so even burroughs makes compromises

I care not what status or money a woman has....if she is hot that is the first thing..if however she is an azzhole I just jerk off on her face and I'm out.
