If you don't exclude an extraordinary number of foods from your diet, you should be getting enough iron simply from what you eat on a daily basis (assuming you respect the various food groups). Consider taking a multivitamin once a day if you think you need more iron.

Although I have no professional knowledge concerning the health risks of consuming too much iron, I wouldn't worry. Your body will filter and discard the excess minerals it doesn't need. Drink lots of water!
