Ending off conversations.

Mostly on phone and chat... how do you guys end your convos?

I need some examples. I'm getting sick the good old ciao, chereio, bye, night, g'nite, cheers, ok im off....

Sometimes I do the whole 'scuse me while I go feed my pet dinosaur' but still. i need some spicey words.

nobody even dare raise an eyebrow at this post. or i will unleash my pet dinosaur on you!!! uhm... ya

I usually say I am getting ready to go somewhere, and I'm kind of in a hurry so I'm not too late. The key word here is "too".

It works every time, and most of the time, it is mostly true, but I am never actually late, I just tell her that to make her think that I am in a hurry that absolutely can not wait. It works every time.

Just say whatever you want. Words aren't that important.

If you feel you've ended the conversation too abruptly and she says something cold like "okay bye," you can always just say it right back exactly like she did: "okay bye"

It'll lighten the tone and be funny, but the conversation will still end.
