A marriage counselor friend of mine has told me about research which has found that couples who tend to be positive with their communication are the most likely to stay together. Couples with a lot of negative communication are the most likely to break up.

Whatever silly thing it is that your girl thinks is cool, simply stfu and let her enjoy it. Do not tell her that the stuff she likes is lame...even if it is lame. You don't have to feign interest, just don't try to convince her that what she likes is foolish. The same goes with childish plans and ideas. If she really thinks that she is going to be a movie star or model - then let her think that. Bringing reality into her world is not sexy. Encourage her to like what she likes. Do not rain on her parade of enjoying anything. If you two just left a movie, which you hated, and she blurts out in the lobby how much she loved the movie...then let her love it, and don't point out all the reasons not to.

The world is full of discouragement. Let her friends, family, & everyone else let her know when she is foolish. But it's best as a guy to just sidestep the judgment and let a girl be happy about whatever makes her happy.

And so I don't sound like Dr Phil, all of this advice helps in getting you laid. Reality is not sexy. Being Captain Bringdown is not sexy, either. Instead, encouraging her, that is sexy.

Awesome advice, a common mistake I see is some men mistake being ****y and funny by discouraging her or criticizing everything she does or putting her down to put value above them. Women feel great when they feel like they're being supported, they just don't like it when men do it to gain their approval.

It's not alpha male to discourage anyone, especially woman, it shows insecurity. Constructive criticism on the other hand is alpha male.

I thought about what you said...and you're right, it's not.

I have known a lot of very successful businessmen who were obviously extremely alpha individuals. If you have read the part of The Game where the author meets Tom Cruise, he describes him as being so alpha that he insists that his reality and his thoughts dominate the room wherever he is. That reminds me of the CEOs and multimillionaires I have met. Those people also tend to have a reputation as being giant raving a55holes when they do not get their way; I have seen those same very successful people throw stuff around their office and have temper tantrums like little children. I have also noticed that their relationships with women tend to be sh!tty. Typically they have a pschyo ex or soon to be ex wife and a young and hot, but manipulative b!tch of a girlfriend who turns them into an AFC, then marries them to later become psycho ex wife #2. The most alpha male guys I have known have not been the best with women.

So that would lead me to believe that having skills with women, although it consist largely of having alpha male traits, is not entirely the same thing. Like a Venn Diagram:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Venn-diagram-AB.svg
If one circle is DJ skills and the other is Alpha Maleness, the circles might overlap a lot, but not entirely.

I think one trait best left out of pure alpha maleness is that insistence that everyone think the way you do about everything. The easiest way into a girl's pants is to learn to choose your battles wisely. You know what you expect out of her and how you expect to be treated. Those are the things you stand up for. But as long as she is giving you everything you want, then the ways in which her reality differs from yours are irrelevant.
