Which came first, the chicken or the egg? j/k

I know that eggs are good to eat for breakfast b/c of the protien and stuff. Yesturday, I was cooking about 4 boiled eggs. My dad came in and told me that eatting all those are bad for me. I ask him why, but he didnt give me anwser. My mom also agreed with him. Is eatting 4 or more eggs not good for you? I think its total BS and the only thing eggs will give you is gas.

Eggs are high in cholesterol (think the yolks are the main problem though?) and also the egg yolks are quite high in fat. Which is why alot of bb'ers ditch the yolks and just eat the whites.

Ingested cholesterol does not necessarily add to the total LDL (bad) cholesterol in your body. There are many more factors.

BUMP. Dietary cholesterol from foods like egg are good for you. High cholesterol levels are caused by saturated fat.

One to two eggs per day is okay, and thats good that youre boiling them, which is really the best way to cook them, although you could even make it better by soft boiling them and leaving the yolk raw.

4 eggs a day is no problem as well, as long as you can handle the taste.

Would also like to add, that eggs contain lecithin which actually

REDUCES the amount of dietary cholesterol that gets into the bloodstream,

BREAKS UP cholesterol that you have into small pieces that the body can handle,

KEEPS cholesterol from building up against artery walls [if you eat enough over time],

and increases the production of bile acids [which is one function of cholesterol] which REDUCES the amount you have in the blood.
