EC Really Works...Sometimes a Little too Well

I am a new rAFC and just started boot camp and reading the bible. One of the things mentioned is to work on EC. I thought that was really going to be tough for me since it seemed creepy and I am kind of shy. So I spent that last two days practicing everywhere I went. It really got easier and I got some smiles and "Hi"s from several HBs.

So anyway, I decided to try it out in more of a PU scene. I went to the local bar. Being the holiday it was kind of dead, but being Kareoke night at least some HBs should show up. A good setup for the rAFC like me.

I got there early and got a good seat at the bar and started practicing the EC. I did not care who it was. I looked them in the eyes and held their gaze until they looked away. I do this for about 20 minutes. Next thing I know this UG3 comes over and starts talking to me. I was polite and thought at least it is practice and maybe if I am nice to her I will look better in the HB eyes. The conversation goes on way too long but I did not want to leave the place since I had identified and started working another target. Finally, UG3's freind comes to take her home, but she insists on giving me her #. Yikes!

After that I went to the bathroom and on the way back approached the target(HB 6) and her friend(HB5). It gave me a great opening and I started the conversation. I pu$$ed out on the #close but baby steps are better than no steps. I now know for sure now that regret is far worse than rejection.

Anyway, I just wanted to say I am a believer in EC now.

EC is key to your game... Just remember the 3 second rule. If you get eye contact, make sure you go over and open her.

Definately, I managed to hold a like 45 min conversation with a chick hb 7 - straight EC the whole time - it was scary. And shorter 10 min ones with an HB9 who like would gaze at me intently some times. A horror story of EC came when I was walking in the halls and walking beside a chick Ug 4 and I was like practiscing and ec between us, confidence high THEN SUDDENLY WHOOPS! I slipped and fell on my ass in the hall because we treaded over a super-slick-area of floor.

When i first started out I began with the eye contact too, at first it felt weird but it naturally develops to the point where it seems you can tell a person how you feel through eyes alone.

Its second nature to me now. One time I really felt the influence it could exert was during one of my first times "in the field", as I was talking to this very attractivelady I held my gaze on one eye, shifted to the other and onwards to the mouth, "the triangle". Subtly!!

Did I make her uneasy? Did I make her hot? Who cares, I got a number and a kiss close. Was one of my smoothest nights *smooth grin*

Thanks for the tip on the triangle. I will try that out next time I go out.

The 3s rule is tough for me. I am fighting the hesitation but I have a hard time coming up with a good opening. As soon as I think of something or have an opening I go for it. It might be 5 mins, but I will work on getting it down.

My theroy is that if I am afraid to do it then I better get off my a$$ and do it until I am no longer afraid to do it. Practice, practice practice.

I still have to work on my eye contact, it's still kind of awkward but that's what practice is for.

Ok i get EC is important and eveything, but when you do grab a girls EC you can't just hold it till SHE breaks it off can you?.
I mean what if it goes on for like 2-3mins or something?....that's not seduction...that's just really odd and weird?.
