Ear Wax? Why guys hear what they expect

Do you expect to hear rejection? If you' you could be shooting yourself in the foot. I tend to think that these points where a girl says something, well they almost don't matter that much. Usually it just shuts down the weak.

I think recognizing these are hard, but first look to see if its an outright rejection, if not just brush it aside and go for what you want. I got thinking about this due to multiple interepetations possible on JBCallin88's recent post at http://www.sosuave.net/forum/showthread.php?t=162655

Girl says: "Hey I just wanted you to know that I've had a great time hanging out with you and everything, but I'm still in that weird stage where I'm not used to being independent again, and I want to really get on my own feet here. I mean you're a great guy and I love doing things with you, but I'm just not back to 'normal' although you've been really great helping me get there. Do you know what I mean?" (Me - stunned nod....) (Her) "Can I have a hug?"

Is it a rejection? Is it saying no relationship, but who cares otherwise, it is just to make herself feel better and to have no "real" consequences?

That's easy. She's an attention w-hore to certain extent like every girl, some just have it worse than others.

She might have been attracted to you at one point and then you did/said/acted in a certain way that made her lose that feeling. Or she might have been looking for an ego stroke and trying to add you to her stable of orbiters.....

Either way... one thing you can be certain about. If a girl is giving you mixed signals....she's not interested ENOUGH in you. Instead of gaming her or trying to get her to chase you.....DROP HER! It'll bother her and she most likely will come back to you for ego validation. Best case scenario, you might be able to hook up with her a few times, but she's already proven that she's not worth anything more than a fuvk.
