Dumbing down your game

Recently I've had my eye on one of my coworkers at my job. She's a HB 7 (short blonde, cute face, average body) and I've been feelin her a lot recently. So I went with my standard A game. Really basic lines, ignoring at key points, no kino (it's a workign place after all) but I got nothing. She seemed like she was really busy all the time didn't really respond to the lines and ignoring her where I thought was necessary didn't do me any good. So I tried something a little more basic and took part in some of the more juvenile conversations about movies, over drinking, stupid celebreties etc etc, stuff I don't normally touch at all. Strangely enough she started warming up to me. Making public that she wanted to ask me out but "didn't know how to" before. I don't know why she'd feel threatened by my routine especially since it's still a come on and what not but for some reason seeming less complex made me more attainable in her mind. Anyway I'm going over her house tomorrow for drinks (she wanted to go out tonight but I had other plans). Sometimes dumbing down your game gets the results you were trying for with half the effort after all. Here's to the B game!

Did you think ignoring her was going to do the trick? What did you talk about before you strated talking about movies and etc.? Somthing tells me that your game is a bit "too cool for school." Also a HB7... with an average body, blond, face.....???? HB7 with average anything isn't a HB anything.

Phyz - I was trying to get her talking before, but taking the high road and talking about career advancement, current events, creative managament and so on and so forth wasn't working. The girl's 23 years old and she SEEMED to be some what intellegent. I guess I over shot it a little bit even though it didn't seem like I was laying it on thick. I talk to girls in bars about the same thing all the time just to show them the renaissance man that I am.

zero- I wasn't ignoring here ALL the time just at some points because after all we are at work and having work ethics by saying "I'm a little busy right now" from time to time was just the occasional thing to show here I'm not all about fun and games. Also we're talking about a HB7 with and average "not great but not horrible" body by Las Vegas pool standards in the summer. Qualifications for 8's and 9's mean the girl would have to be phenominal in at least one area. She's not phenominal but then again I'm looking at hundreds of super hot bodies all day so it's hard to stack up.

Alot of women want to be with someone that they can be free with. This is the appeal of the bad boy, but a other guys can also put this affect into his game. Just like you did.

When you were talking about current events, career advancement and the like you were "competing" with her. When you started talking about movies, tv, celebrities, drinking, you were talking about more socialable topics. Alot of women love the "little boy" inside: the guy that gets happy with stupid stuff like a stupid movie that has no plot and a bunch of potty humor.

Women may act like they don't like it, and maybe they don't, but they love it when you can get into these things. But balance is the key, if you really do have an established intellectual slant this helps even more.

I was once, in another life, in a bit of a competition with "an intellectual guy" for a girl, he went the high road, I went the low road. I knew it was working when in front of her he referred to me as "a barbarian". Keep in mind all three of us had, or were close to having Phd's.
