Drugs as a Tool?

Hey guys,

i don't post much but I love reading the forum. There's a lot of talk about awkwardness and nervousness in approaching women.

I was wondering what people's opinions are in using drugs as a tool for increasing self confidence or as a means to attain p#*$y. Now before I get bashed by everyone, just hear me out...

I'm a good looking guy I know this, i take care of myself work out all the time, go tanning, wardrobe from Armani Exchange... whatever. I'm still not banging enough women...

If I'm at a club, and I'm drunk, im so confidant, my chest is flexed, the smile is on, my body moves to the music, girls come up and I hit em with mad game. But this is after consuming 3 or 4 drinks, and the price to pay at the end is fierce. It messes up my workout, and hangovers are miserable. But sometimes vagina is just worth it! Okay so, I realize that a true DJ does not need to get wasted before he puts the moves on. I would like to get there some day. By the way, if I do coke or E, I can land about 5 times as many girls...something about the way it just makes me feel like I'm super man, or even god like. I can also talk to anyone on these drugs and it just makes me feel amazing. Honestly, one time on a coke binge I picked up this Puerto Rican cutey off the street and brought her to Bally's Casino where I was staying and had the most amazing sex. It's too bad these drugs have horrendous neurological effects in the end. Can anyone just exlpain to me how I can land so many girls when Im on drugs and why the hell I'm too scared to when Im sober?? Does anyone else use drugs as a tool to pimp??? Thanks for your help. Please don't bash me too much Im just a product of society.

Just out of curiosity, from what you just described, I guess that you are American living in the States. Am I right?

Because from my experience, it looks like in the States they have this drunken culture when it comes to "hooking up". I'm not talking about "beer goggles" or "lowering standards", but I've noticed that even people who normally are willing to "hook up" always need to go through alcohol or whatever to be able to do the "deed".

An example:
A friend of mine picked up a cutie from the local bar from playing fuzzball, and they obviously hitted it off. At the end, they were leaving the group together so we all thought he was in. But then the next day, he told us that when they went to the girl's place, she wanted to drink some more, and eventually she passed out.

Other one:
Another friend got the booty call he's been waiting for, and he drank some more since he was so excited. And two hours later, when the whole group went back home, the girl came out complaining that my friend passed out and was snorting on his bed.

So now back to your story, maybe you just need to "get high" before doing anything, since it's how everybody does it around here. I would suggest that you use alcohol instead drugs though...

Or maybe it's just me, I don't pretend to be an expert on this...

I think it is deeper than anyone can imagine. It may have to do with a reward mechanism that lies deep within the brain. Dopamine, is a neurotransmitter involved in pleasure and reward. I believe the "thrill" so to speak of meeting and having sex with a total stranger is due to release of this chemical. The "thrill" of winning money in Vegas is also due to this chemical. The ego boost that we get when a random girl says we're hot is due to this chemical. All this stuff makes us feel really amazing. Cocaine's mode of action is to inhibit dopamine from being degraded in the neuron so there is more dopamine available in the synapse. I think this is why I feel like a million bucks when I'm on it. Far far more than drinking however I believe alcohol works the same way. It artificially increases your self esteem. I'm a med student by the way

I don't think that pot is a major problem, because most people that smoke a joint wont sell their house and everything inside just for the next high.

I have 2 stories for you that have affected me personnally...

A few years back, I was deep in the rave scene, I would drop e on a fairly consistant basis throughout perhaps six months... I was by no means 'hardcore' about it (or a candy raver like most people assume ravers are like). I just had fun with it, and then got bored of the scene, and thus I stopped doing the ecstacy.

I was in my psychology class last semester, flirting with some cutie sitting next to me. Then I felt an odd sensation, like I needed to get some air... I started walking out of the room.....

Next thing, I'm in a room with a light over my head, I try to sit up. Someone comes and pushes me down, so I tried harder, then more and more people came to push me back into a bed... Over the next several hours, things started coming back to me, I realize that I was in the hospital... but how?? I look at my arms, they are bruised from one end to the other. Pictures fill my mind of the classroom I was in... when finally a relative comes to my side, "It seems you had a seisure in your class and fell down the stairs. That was three days ago."

After going through a battery of tests, and harrassing the nurses (God I loved that button). I finally went for an MRI scan...

After sitting in the tube for twenty minutes, the machine pushes me out, as I hear the doctor walk in the room, "You have got to stop doing ecstasy!" Not asking if I had done it, or when was the last time, but telling me that I've had too much... mind you, I had only consumed perhaps 20 pills in my life (And I had talked to others that had done more then that in a whole weekend).

"How can you tell?" I inquired. As I followed the doctor to the computer room attached to the machine, she showed me the picture of my brain... "This is gibberish to me, what is it that shows that I did e?" She points at various black dots throughout the picture, "These black spots are sections of dead brain cells that is caused by the chemicals."

The conclusion to all these tests was that the seizure was extasy related, despite not having touched the drug in over a year at the time... Needless to say, I haven't touched chemical drugs since.

You never know who the vigilantes can be, especially when you are selling high priced, highly addictive chemicals like cocaine...

I've personnaly never indulged, the idea of snorting just seems wrong to me, although I have been very near to people that didn't feel the same way.

There was a party one day, while in eleventh grade, and some of the kids were snorting coke in the washroom... but being amateurs, didn't realize just how much they were consuming. One of my classmates started to overdose on the cocaine... there was panic throughout the house, everyone wanting to help as long as they wouldn't get in trouble.

Luckily, the ambulance came in time... within a matter of weeks he was out of the hospital. Of course, our story doesn't end here....

The older brother of the guy that overdosed was aching for revenge.

I'm not to sure on the details, but essentially a group of guys, after finding the identity of the dealer, kicked in the door of his house and force fed the guy the better part of his own stock... and left him lying on the floor.....

All this just to say, you don't always realize what you are getting into with drugs... and the price could end up being more then you are willing to pay.

Slower, Dumber, less attentative, easily rattled, always needing attention? Has there been a marked change in your IQ or intuitiveness, motivation etc.

In prudish American society, drugs and alcohol make a convenient "scapegoat". People (especially women, due to the expectation of 'purity') like to be able to say that it wasn't THEM who wanted sex so badly, it was the influence of the drugs that clouded their judgement.

Everyone's looking for someone to blame.

thirteenthstep, I feel ya, buddy. I know exactly what your talking about. A few years ago I did some speed. The euphoria was AMAZING. I could talk to ANY chick, even if they laughed in my face I wouldn't give a damn while on the whizz.

Felt completely alpha while on the gear, and acted the part too. I wonder if this is what it constantly feels like for those Ultimate DJ's?

Amphetamines gave me way more confidence then liquor or pot could EVER do. You feel like king of the world. Lucky for me though, the speed dealers got kicked out of school and I couldn't get my hands on any more amphetamines. Besides, what are we gonna do? Get high just to act alpha and score heaps more pvssy? Besides, when the effects of speed where off(presume the same is with cocaine) you feel like complete dogshyt and can stay in a depressed state for a couple of days.

When you think about it, we can DO it naturally, we're not scoring chicks because we're on coke/speed, it's the qualities we bring out while on the drugs. Which, if we can do on drugs, we can do them without drugs, only harder to find those qualities while clean...

Anyone whoever touches drugs are nothing more than ****ing stupid ****ing losers, who have a low opinion of themselfs.

If people wanna take drugs go ahead,i couldn't give a flying **** if they die/hurt themselfs or damage themselfs.

IN FACT, anyone who takes drugs i'd WISH for them to either die or **** themselfs up pretty bad!....so then other people would learn from these losers!.

Also do we really need a topic on drugs so people can come in and praise them like somebody has done allrdy done abive this post?!

Before I went to college I had never had alcohol before. The first college I went to was a military college and it was pushed on people to be an alcoholic. It helped pass the time.

I transfered and started smoking pot. I had severe social anxiety. Pot made me a lot of friends, and no, they weren't there so they could get a hit. Its amazing how many people who just occasionally smoke.

The bad thing was when I started experitmenting with other drugs like shrooms. The first time was cool, but my last time was a bad experience and it woke me up. Never again.

I thank the weed for waking me up and giving me a social life to act as a base. I just stick to cigars now.

I feel so guilty for even trying it.

I had a friend in high school a few years older than me. Kind of like me. He started doing that stuff that comes in robotussein. Fried his brain. Dropped out of engineering school to go to a mental hospital. Now, he(23) lives with some 45 year old african american woman and her six children.

Definitely! Quality of life is directly proportional to quality of judgements you made. However it's important to relate and have some compassion towards other people and their choices no matter how irrational and dumb they are.

I do not argue with that point. But speaking from personal experience, drug addicts will drag you down with them if you let them. Stay away from drugs and drug users alike.

Never touch drugs myself. I recently Stopped hanging around a certain crowd of people because they are ALL messed up on cocaine. Real cold environment. Several of them are thousands of dollars in debt. Some have lost their jobs, some well on there way to rehab or being homeless. Yeah, it's real cool until it it turns into a habit, and it gets out of control really quick.

Not to mention people on coke are as boring as fck to be around much less talk to. Mind you, it turns the girls into complete hors - they'll walk on their hands for free coke, just make sure you use a condom if you decide to shag one of the diseased sluts.

Cocaine will take everything from you - your dignity, your health, your money, your home, your lovelife will suffer. Not very DJ. Not to mention, all those people you do it with, whom you think are real friends, really are not. Meanwhile, you ostracise everyone in your life who you love that is worth knowing, including your family.

I'll pass thanks.

I look at it this way: It's a free world. People are free to do whatever they want. And I'm free to judge them accordingly - however I want, and I'm free as well to decide to cut them out of my life if I don't want to be around it.

However, IMO, Pot is no worse than beer really.

You guys are acting like anyone who takes drugs is a complete addict who can't function without them.

What about people who just take them occasionally? They're not addicts, they don't sell their own family's possentions just for another 'hit'. They're normal people who experiment & relish in the vairiety of life.
I find it hyocritical that some of you can condem someone who takes ecstacy once & a while while you go off & smoke pot.

I have taken ecstacy a few times. The feeling it gives you is amazing. Your inhabitions go away & you feel you can talk to ANYONE, even the sexiest girls in a club who have a group of guys around her. your confindence skyrockets. Plus, inside it feels like a constant orgasm.

I take 1 or 2 pills a month. It hasn't really affected my intellect, memory, social skill, or anything else. if anything it's made me more confident as a person as i've seen the world in a whole new way.

Drugs can be used as a doorway to whole new world of inner freedom & peace & creativity.
That was Jim Morrisons (lead singer of "the Doors")whole philosophy. To 'break on through to the other side' as it were.

I'm with pootwo, some of you need to learn the difference between drug users and drug addicts. Stop believing everything your middle school teachers told you and do some research for yourself...if you are educated and mature about drug use you can have some truly incredible experiences, without turning into a junkie.

I know what your talking about, but I think that if your having to use drugs to run your game then your not DJing.. You know how it feels when your in that state of mind, so try and get in that state of mind without using any drugs.
