No, I don't think the issues are the same. But, I'll agree, there still are issues. Why are there still issues? Is it because there's still a bunch of racist out running the show...racist cops everywhere? I'm not racist, my family's not, I actually don't personally know any white person who could be considered "racist". I've met a few racist blacks though. I've been called cracker a few times, never called any black person a N'ger though. I've never taken anything away from blacks. In my lifetime, I've seen them be given every opportunity I've been given. Aside from inner city schools not being the best around, from what I've seen, black people have been given every freedom I have. We have a black president for crying out loud dude.Maximus Rex said:And 60 years later we're still dealing with the same issues.
It ain't the 1950's anymore.
If you say so. That is your perception. That's the big difference. You got a pass where as with black people that rarely is ever happens.
How does the Fergusson case prove this at all? How many people in that neighborhood walk down the street drinking, or smoking weed? How many times do cops look the other way when that happens?
^those are just a few instances that white people usually don't get a pass on.
pre-conceived notions...... where do they get these pre-conceived notions from? Stop playing the ****ing knock out game dude. Crime statistics don't lie. In my lifetime, I've been treated a lot more poorly by black people than I've ever treated them. "I have black friends." They're cool guys. I don't care about the color of anyone's skin. Why would I? I'm not stupid though, I'm not going walk my honky a$$ down in the ghetto an expect to not be fvcked with.Due to their own preconceived notions about black people, the police think that were criminals and as a result we should lock up and or killed.
If a cop stops me I show him respect. I also don't attack him. If a cop were to fvck with me for no reason (which has happened), then I would take appropriate action. For you dealing with the cops is a minor inconvenience, for me an encounter with the police could result in me losing my freedom or my life.
How do you fix that problem? However it disproportionately happens to blacks. When you have black people regardless of age and socioeconomic status being f*cked with because of race that's a problem.
Can you admit that Mike Brown was a Felon? And that is why he was being fvcked with....because he just robbed a store? Also, the cop told him to walk on the side walk....did he? Do you think white people get free passes to walk down the middle of the street and use profanity towards cops?
I can't guarantee it either. I don't know what experiences or fears you've had. To me, it's like the feminists complaining about how Men have it so easy, and women have it so hard. I've experienced life bro, worked in every type of environment imaginable. I have rarely, if never, seen women or minorities discriminated against because of their gender or the color of their skin. If anything, they're given a pass because of this. They're given the benefit because they are a woman or minority. In this day and age, do you know how hard it is to fire a woman or a minority? Everyone's afraid of getting sued for discrimination. White male on the other hand....who gives a fvck about them. I don't have a card I can play. I don't have a reason for them to hire me, or give me that promotion, other than my experience and my work ethic. How do you explain the numerous amounts of people that are accosted by the police without cause? I don't get f*cked with by the police either for the reason you stated, but there have been too many times where there was no reason for them to enter my life when they have and unfortunately (unlike you,) I can't guarantee that the police will enter in my life uninvited.
^This is how it's been my whole life dude. I don't see discrimination at every corner. I also don't go around life with my eyes closed. I do see white cops getting vilified and threatened because they killed a black man. I see the white liberal media turning this black man into an innocent saint, while all the facts are showing the contrary. I see PC run amok.-------> Women and minorities are good.-----> White males are bad.
This is what I see. Can you understand this?
Do you know how ridiculous this sounds? It's the cops fault Michael Brown attacked him?Michael Brown was perceived as "dangerous," due to Darren Wilson's poor policing. Dude never had control of the scene and I don't understand how you a person get that close to you. Why was he trying to question a suspect from the car like he was trying to holla at a chick. Why didn't stop the car, get out and then question them.
