Here's a partial list of stuff i recently bought, off the top of my head:

Energie Casual Shirt, 2004 Collection $150
Diesel Kratt Jeans, Blue Washed/Whiskered $179
Diesel Ravix Jeans, Black Washed/Whiskered $179
DKNY 100% Cashmere Sweater V-Neck $228
3 Banana Republic T-Shirts - $22/ea

Those are the retail prices. In other words, if you went to a mall, you'd pay around $800 plus taxes for this stuff. Which is fine if you're a millionaire, but what if you're not? ;)

Then you do what i do. Hit up eBay! I got all of these items AUTHENTIC, BRAND NEW, WITH TAGS for about $275 including shipping and taxes! Catch? NONE! I've been doing this for years and laughing at people who don't!

I never EVER buy clothing in stores simply because i can buy for as much as the stores themselves pay for it, if not less! If you know how to use eBay, you can get around 65-75% off ANYTHING! How great is that? And this isn't only limited to clothing! I got a 400-dollar MD player for just over 100, a 100-dollar battery for my cell for $10 and so on!

FINDING SELLERS:
I recommend buydesign7, lealice, etc. Search for the item you want and look through the sellers. Then you should be able to find several large sellers and view their entire inventory. There are a lot of sellers who specialize only on Energie, or Armani, etc.

FINDING ITEMS:
I strongly suggest familiarizing yourself with eBay's search commands. They will speed up the process 10-fold! You'll learn how to filter out used items, sizes you don't want, and so on. So don't be lazy and read the tutorial!

You need to be careful when buying clothes on ebay...there's alot of fake stuff floating around...with fake tags...a good way to tell you have a fake is buy looking at the material of the clothing...for example...a versace shirt...look at the quality of the buttons...the softness of the material...the finish of the stiching...etc.....

Don't forget about size. Make sure that you know exactly what size you need since you will not be able to try on the clothes. Not all designers use the same measurments so I suggest going to a store and trying on clothes by a particular designer you like to find out what size you should purchase.

If you buy off of eBay make sure the seller has a good rating and recomennded by other users. If the seller has a lot of good revies, then you shouldnt have to worry about the product being fake, defective, or in bad condition.
For clothes you should try them on in the store first though to make sure they fit.

I have *NEVER* bought a fake off eBay! I know my clothes. I personally try on a lot of the stuff i buy in stores prior to ordering it. And i only buy from sellers with a positive feedback in the hundreds, sellers KNOWN to have been selling upscale designer clothing for years without getting a single complaint. It's safe. Period.

Make sure the sellers are in the US, as well. There were a lot of people selling cheap North Face coats and they were in Hong Kong... gee I wonder about that.

of all these time I was thinking, no fakes, but you know what? I have to agree with Doppel, make sure it's not from hong kong and so on
hong kong, canton (in china) and the local chinatown are good at producing fakes
