So lately I have been dreaming and "seeing everywhere" this chick I used to date. We didn't go out but a few times and there wasn't much to her personality. I don't currently have any social media and there has been no phone contact for a long while. Why do I keep thinking about this chick both conscious and subconsciously? And how do I shake this off?

I make music. It takes my mind off other things. But, the learn curve is steep. Works for me. Video games, work too.

Find a goal or objective and work towards it.

Find something that you can focus on, so you won't be thinking about some chick that may or may not be good for you.

Dreams are just dreams.
I dreamt I was hugging a decaying skelleton last night in a remote part of the jungle.
I hope that dream wont come true.

At least you still dream. I can only remember like 4 dreams a year, and they're more so just flashes than anything, not like I actually remember them vividly. I had a super vivid one several weeks ago actually. Before that, the last time I had a really clear one was probably when I was 13.

Interesting subject.

I've had dreams about women that have seriously spiked my interest in that particular woman.

I've also realized the dream once. And the reality was a complete disappointment.

On some level, your subconscious is projecting fantasies onto another human being. She is just the avatar for that.

What to do? Fvck it. Hit her up. Not got anything to lose, have you?

Don't ever remember people putting down video gaming here TBH. It's a normal masculine hobby.

One of my favourite things to do with women as a joke/tease has been to put FIFA on the Playstation, hand them the controller, and then laugh whilst they try to play it :D

Do it yourself. It's hilarious.
Out of curiosity, who do you support deesade?

Onto the ignore list you go...

You actually have no idea how much grief I get for it. Even from random strangers.

Who are you into? You play some FIFA as well? Get a woman to play it. It's funnier ;)
FC Porto fan here, and yes I do play FIFA however havent had yet a female touch my gamepads, only the joystick :)

Sooooooo... I tried to shake it off by trying to get back in the dating scene. I just asked out my roommates girlfriends sister (say that 10x fast lol) she gave me a no and then I found out she has a huge crush on me and she said no because she is nervous. That hasnt helped curb my "dream girl" appetite.

I have felt like contacting her but other than social media, which I don't touch, there is no way for me to make contact. I also feel like I may regret contacting her if I did.

I have read up about dreaming of people. Common "problem" is no closure. This is actually a girl I previously posted about and she just up and ditched me, no biggie we only went out a few times, i chalk it up to self esteem issues of hers so i dont feel like closure is the issue.

I have been playing video games to get my mind off stuff. Namely Resident Evil (beat in 3 days), Kingdom Hearts 2.8 (yawn), and Zelda Breath Of The Wild for Switch (Took a little under a week).

Kind of in a rut.

" Closure" is just some BS crap created by some woman. Closure is not needed to move on. It's over! That's all you need for closure. Get over it.

As for dreams, that shvt happens all the time. Between my ex wf and a few other nyphos I use to date. It's a glorious thing are you kidding me! Actually as of recently I've noticed I don't remember dreams as good as I use to. I'll have to look into that. Prolly old age creeping up.

Say fam, its obvious you either didn't read or comprehend what I said about the closure thing. I said we only went out a few times and i dont feel as though "closure" is the issue and its no big deal.

Yea Im in a rut but it has nothing to do with her.

My original question is why am I dreaming about her and how do I stop?

Men frequently err by talking too much. They often monopolize conversations, droning on and on about topics that bore women to tears. They think they're impressing the women when, in reality, they're depressing the women.
