Genetics are a key determinant in our behavior, our genes are not a choice. the other half is the experiences we have through out our life, although we are an actor in our environment, or contribution to everything we experience is small, most experiences "just happen" and are not a choice. so really, who we are is not a choice. we all CHOOSE who we are attracted to, but in the end obviously we all PREFER someone who is as good looking as possible.
