I am having some good conversations on the mature men board about my current fling. But, after reading the posts on here it is giving me a lot more confidence. Always smiling at girls at work, I used to either look down or just walk straight past them.

Anyway, the question I have has anyone ever dated a girl in a wheel chair? I was out side my work today and this hottie in a wheel chair got stuck in the doors, so I walked over to help her, held the door etc. She says 'thanks for the help blah blah' I say no prob, have a good day with a big smile. But as she rolled off, she looked round and gave me this big arse grin. I see her around the office once in a while, I was hoping to chat with her again. I don't mean to sound rude or anything, but do the rules apply the same. Obviusly she is just in a wheel chair and not handicapped in other way. I would just like to hear from anyone that has been in a similar situation.

Basically she's a female just like the others. Approach her with charm, get her number, take her out, take it from there She might have issues about being in a wheelchair though? It depends on her personality, how long she's been wheelchair bound, and whether there's hope for her to walk on her own again?

If she's got issues, she's going to be a lot of work. If you get serious with her, you'll have to consider a lot of other things too. Whether she's worth your investment or not depends on you - if you really want her, go in by all means, but do it with your wide eyes open.

She seems cool when I have seen her, very bubbly!!!

The big problem is where to take her etc, but maybe i am just jumping the gun I need hold a convo first. Plus she drives a kick ass Monte Carlo SS, that could be a good opener. I think I will try the smile and Hi in the corridor and go from there.

Nothing wrong with planning ahead, as long as you don't get too emotionally attached...

I actually think this is one of those cases where you can ignore the usual DJ advice which is basically lay down the law for the first few dates. I reckon once you have her number you should ask her if there's anywhere she'd like to go, or discuss places to go with her. After all, you don't wanna buy tickets for something and find they don't cater well for people in wheelchairs!
