Don't Rule Out LTR's

Many people on this site are totally anti-LTR's for reasons that elude me.

Being with a girl who you're totally into and is totally into you is one of the best things a guy can get.

Not to mention the constant, reliable action you get from being in a relationship...

So really, DON'T by any means purposely deprive yourself from the joys of a relationship.

My girlfriend right now isn't only someone I find attractive and hook up with all the time, she's my best friend. Not a better feeling in the world.

Wise counsel, young soldier! Many on this site choose only to march in lock step with the majority "group-think". You seem to be one of the ones who are capable of thinking for yourself and forming your own opinions.

I concur. Here is a young brother who gives a fvck about his own opinion and does not apologize for it.

Most people who are Anti-LTR's are looking out for you young guys. People through out high school and college are just experiencing life and girls. You wan't to put yourself first and her second through out these years. It's the time of your life where you branch out and become you. You wan't to be successful and not worrying about your girlfriend.

Sure, there is nothing wrong with it and having that special someone in your life. But; again, This should be the time to meet all kinds of women and not be stuck to one. You wan't to experience different girls to qualify for a good one woman later on. Just go out and have fun because, you only got one life!

I think being in a LTR is part of the fun. The goal should not be to avoid an LTR, it should be to avoid a bad one. I actually think that LTRs (good ones) can be the ideal for some people, especially those who like close relationships with other people. We're social animals and while I dont think a LTR is natural, it really does fill in some of the voids that today's society puts in our lives. We Americans have this ****ed up individualistic lifestyle where we make no compromises for anyone, and I think that leads to a feeling of isolation in some people which an LTR can prevent. I'm happy to have to consider my gf's family in our decision on where to live, for instance. Even though my life may be less exciting due to being in LTR(s, if things go bad with this one) it will be more fulfilling...I think.

I'm actually in one right now. be a month and a half, no real end in sight. that's kinda the way I like it. someone who I can flirt with, be dirty with, take dancing (swing and da`club), and get/give sweet massages to/from (i store my stress right between my shoulder blades). in HS, it's all just practice. practice flirting, practice approach, practice making out, practice getting in good with the parents, and practice keeping a girl interested. just the way I see it.

I'm sort of after a LTR at the moment. Although I'm not really doing much to find one and I'm just going around pimping. It's weird, I am a huge pimp and all my DJ skills are finally coming out to play. But when I try to get a LTR thats when I start turning a little afc. I'm really scared to actually like someone. Hell I don't know if a 'DJ' should.

Now I know how afc that sounds, but I've been called a man*****. It's just circumstance.

I just find it funny that people often come here looking for a LTR, then end up hating them.
