This is silly, many people marry out of insecurities such as not wanting to grow old alone, so theres no suprise those sort of marriages fail. But were the guys that if we was to get married, it would be for the right reasons. Anyway, the statistics show that 3 out of 5 marriages are successful, which means theres only 40% failure rate.

This may be true in other parts of the world, but in the US and Canada, its near 50%. In Sweden is higher than 50%

I do not want to get married any time soon, but I do know that I am not afraid of it like it seems a lot of people here are.

2nded. Because there is a seemingly low probability they wont even try. Thats the correlation I was trying to show with cold approaches and marriage...

I want to get married because I want to be the father figure of a functional family unit. The failure rate of marriages has largely to do with people who make really bad marital decisions. Sometimes, they just fail because of things beyond either spouses' control. It's a chance I'm willing to take.

Getting married just so you can have sex is the dumbest thing I've ever heard though. If you're christian, I'd suggest you commit a serious sin and have sex with someone RATHER THAN marry just for a sexual encounter, cause in the end, the latter would bring even more anguish.

What's funny is if you don't get married and have children out of wedlock then there is a **** ton of money to the mom. So you're still gonna have fork out money. Unless you say don't have children and then the human species doesn't survive.

F**k having kids. Just want to be rich and famous and then get a girlfriend. My game sucks ass right now, but once I get successful it's going into high gear.

Even the ones that do "work" will get to be routine and boring. I agree with the philosopht that no-one except yourself can make you happy except yourself.
