Long story short: I used to read this forum a year ago. Started using the paradigms often repeated on here to build attraction and before I knew it I was swamped with girls who couldn't get enough of me.

Yesterday I went on a date with a girl who I really started liking through the date. I loosened up, started acting like a normal nice guy, mirroring here "niceness".

BANG!!!! "Sorry, you're so LOVELY but I think we're too different" (on trying to get another date).

Don't get complacent. Don't forget what's getting you these dates and what's making the girls coming back for more. Even if she looks like the sweetest/nicest girl in the world, she still probably prefers you to be ****y or an *******.

Anyway, I've learnt my lesson and will not make this mistake again, at least for a short while :p

And this brings me to my most important point that I always try to raise: What's the point of being with a girl if you feel like to have to put on an act to keep her?

It's true that a lot of the things you initially do consciously, end up sifting into your natural/subconscious actions.

But it's also true that the more you like a girl or loosen up, the more you step away from the things that got you the girl in the first place.

I don't have an answer to the dilemma of "am I just pretending to be someone I'm not", all I know is that I lost a girl I quite liked. When the latter happens, it makes the former seem insignificant...

Men frequently err by talking too much. They often monopolize conversations, droning on and on about topics that bore women to tears. They think they're impressing the women when, in reality, they're depressing the women.
