I just wanted to post a little tip if you are playing the email game. I had a girl that really ended up liking me, this biatch wrote me 3 page emails daily. I felt a good connection with her and was pursueded into sharing my emotions and getting into deep conversation. I also started writing long emails to her. BAD IDEA! no matter how good of vibe or connection you are getting from a girl, never open up and always keep it short and sweet. All the salty DJs already know this im sure, but for the newbie DJs, this is a pitfall! No matter how much she tells you she is not into head games and that you can just "open" up to her, its always a trap. The only exception, being in a relationship, even then its not that good of an idea to share your emotions or talk alot for that matter. The conclusion, we dont talk anymore, and I wasted my time. Proof this works, I have another girl that I have been talking too just as long, she writes the same long ass emails to me, I keep it short, sweet, and I always take a few days to respond to her.

I agree with you to keep it short and sweet because you don't want to ruin the mystery and you don't want to seem like you have nothing better to do than hang around your computer writing her long a$$ emails all day.

You are also right to not always respond immediately because this shows you have other things occupying your attention.

From personal experience, I prefer not to play email tag with a chick.

Most of these girls get so many messages from guys all the time (especially if they have a really good picture) so you have to get these girls on the phone ASAP.

After you have exchanged maybe two or three emails with her, tell her that your not into emailing back and forth and that you'd prefer to talk to her on the phone.

At this point you have two options:

You can leave her your number and tell her to give you a call (this is very low risk for her) and if she is interested she will (although she might wait several days so she doesn't look desperate).

Or, you can take the higher risk way and suggest that she give you a number she can be reached at (notice I said "suggest" and not "ask" because I never ask or make requests, I only give commands and suggestions).

Again, if she is interested she will give you her number.

Either way you do it, by suggesting you take things to the phone level, you weed out the ones with genuine interest from the ones who will just wind up being an email buddy and waste your valuable time.

In general, women who talk wayyy too much should be avoided. Mail or mouth that is.

My 2 cents.

C&F is not everything fellows. Wise up!

Hi

Assumptions annd generalizations are always bad ideas. So is thinking that C&F is everything. Thinking that C&F = relationship success is simply over simplication. So, beware. All relationship is about sharing of feelings. Sure, refrain from becoming the sensitive nice guy 24/7, but if you carry C&F too far, you come across as an unpredictable, insecure guy who is not in touch with his feelings. Soon, especially when a girl has other options, you will get the boot.

I know. With C&F, I got my girl. With C&F, I lost her. She said she doesn't understand me. She has never met anyone like me. But at the same time, she doesn't feel that she know me. She feels insecure abt me. She went for someone who expresses his feelings to her...

Guys, just my 2c worth. Wise up. Be yourself. C&F in moderation. Don't assume that every girl is the same. Don't buy those stuff the media tries to sell you. This is the real world. Don't over-generalize. Cheers.

u sound like ur still recovering from the break up and are very bitter, if she went for some guy that spills his feelings to her, then either she likes afcs or, you never talked to her the right way in the first place.

I totally agree with this. If she's a ramble mouth telling her opinion on every matter available or she writes long emails that's more complicated on an essay you wrote about bubblegum. RUN. These women are super drama queens.

Example: I work for one (boss) and once an accountant pissed my boss, my boss wrote a 2 page email and CC: to several other people. I also dated a girl who would do that too and all I gotta say is those two women are very dramatic and if you piss them off they are psycho.

Another example: I have a friend that talks WAY TOO MUCH. ON AND ON AND ON.. her bf thinks he's so suave because she came on to him without him doing any work. 1. She's average looking 2. He's paying for EVERYTHING - how suave is that? Guess what, she's also very DRAMATIC.

Huge guy, you got the point. I am feeling better now :). In fact, it is 'cos she prefers AFCs that my C&F approach is not the right way for her. The point is this: C&F will not appeal to everyone, just like AFCs. And C&F will not be effective at every stage of the courting process. At some point, you need to reveal your feelings carefully BUT don't act like opening the emotional floodgate. Look around us; not many people know about C&F, yeah? Still, some of these people manage to get married for over 10, 20 years. The key point is to find someone who suits and likes your style. Refrain from thinking that C&F all the way will get you the one truly suitable for you. Cheers fellas!

C+F only works if

C+F only works if it comes naturally. Force it, and you just come across as dorky. I used to screw up a lot by trying to be C+F when it just wasn't happeneng. Better than being a wuss, but not by much.

I'm with Interpol on this one. I steer clear of email by and large, and don't consider email gals serious romantic prospects. Email is best for long-distance interactions and exchange of printed info, period, IMNSHO.
