Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

well, i didn't actually faint. they were very good about that. it just shook me up, and was totally avoidable if i'd actually followed their directions (don't eat right beforehand, stay hydrated, avoid caffeine that day).

I've successfully donated 1 gallon to date. No scares, no fainting for me. Enjoy it and hit on the hotties, you'll be surprised how receptive they are of everyone due to their...wooziness.

donated today, the only pain was the initial breaking of my skin to get to the vein. No dizzyness or anything, my friend fainted though :p

i always look the other way and i grip the chair arm with my free hand.
it only hurts for one tiny second, but could save someone else's life .
it's so worth it!

i am proud of you guys for wanting to do this.

Very important to eat a full meal before hand. I didn't think about it my first time and hadn't eaten in at least a day very stressed and going nonstop with school work. Did not make for a very good combination. Didn't quite faint but had to lay down and eat cookies and juice for an hour. Got me out of class though...
