Don Juan success in Japan (attention Don Juans who have been to/lived in Japan)

Would all the stuff I have learned on this site and message board work in Japan? The reason I am asking is because I am planning on moving to Japan.

I know the cultures are very similar, yet VERY different.




No offense, but I don't need any posts that just say 'yep' or what works in the U.S. has gotta work in Japan'. I want posts from people who know what they are talking about and can answer and expand on my question.

my friend just got back from being stationed in Japan. From what I can tell from talking to him, girls were easy in Japan for him. The interest was already there, because he was exotic and exciting, and all he had to do was talk to them. He said that he could get away with anything, asking for sexual favors in bad japanese and they'd laugh.

Learn some japanese, or you will be left with body language, social proof, looks, and voice tone... no personality will be with you and you will only REALLY find girls who speak english well.

Yes, I am going to start learning Japanese a year before I go.
