i've gotten quite formiliar with the teaching and such

but still wondering something it more philipholical then anythign but it is

i there a difference between being whipped and true love or does true love even really possible?

p.s and if it does exist how do u tell if someone is whipped or in true love?

My 5yo daughter asked a lot of questions the other day. Eventually, she approached the "problem of evil." (You know, the conundrum of "why is there evil in the world, and why isn't 'God' responsible for it"?)

She asked me, "Hey, Daddy, why did God make the 'Bad Guys"?


Who really knows?




I'd advise that you cover your ass.

My niece asked me the very same question a long time ago...kids, esp lil girls look/sound so adorable when they ask such questions in complete innocence. Gah, I wish they never grew up.

look around in the world today, i think true evil surely exists in the world today.. if you dont believe so i think you are in denial...

I neither believe in pure good nor pure evil. Good and evil are just points of view. It's just as subjective as morality is.

Also, I'm not sure I believe in true love or at least don't know how or if it can be distinguished from infatuation.

Practically speaking, since there is no actual definition of love, there is no way we can say if it exists or not.

if you're talking about sh!t you see in movies where all they do is talk about how they love each other and go sit at the beach and watch the sunset and the guy gives her flowers and she never looks at another guy and she does everything for you and never goes out unless you are with her and alll that crap then no, that doesn't exist.

I think love is all too often used as an excuse.

It's an excuse for people in a relationship to stop making the effort knowing the other person should stick around because they love them

It's an excuse for people to stick with doomed relationships/marriages because they are too stupid/scared to leave and start afresh.

It and the threat of a broken heart is used to manipulate people into staying with you by people who's significant other is threatening to leave.

It's an excuse for the stalker to justify to himself and others to continuously follow his 'prey'.

Etc.

Basically, people need to realise that it takes positive effort to make relationships work and love is the side-effect. Love should never be expected to do the work for you.
