One of the most critical facets to any pickup is the ability to detect and interpet IOIs. Where a lot of guys fail comes from the inability to look out for these indicators of interest - whether conscious or subconscious - and escalate accordingly.
Yesterday, I stopped by a couple of salons at the local mall looking for my favourite hair wax. As with most salons, at the front booth were young attractive girls in their early 20s. The first girl answered my question, and began stroking her face with a fingernail the entire time. The second girl I asked raised her arm, exposed her armpit, and began scratching the side of her neck. Both made eye contact as they were doing this.
Moreover, now that I'm conscious of it, I've been noticing this scratching/stroking/fidgeting tendency with a lot with girls I've come across - surely not every girl I talk to has a horrendous itch.

In this video, Mystery discusses common IOIs. He mentions that scratching/stroking is a subtle, subconscious indicator of interest and a guage of attraction. Why this seemingly bizarre behaviour? Mystery harkens it back to our evolution from primates, and apes grooming.
So guys, if you're picking up a girl and notice her scratching/stroking her wrist, shoulder, face, or neck as you talk to her, it means that she is, at least on a subconscious level, attracted to you. Game on boys.
