Hey this post of mine is pretty long but if anyone can give some comments i really appreciate it.
I'm a male 21 years old and I have a guy friend who i know who is almost 23. Anyways, we talk about school and girls and you know the usual stuff.
I also dont understand how he thinks. For instance, i still live at home with my family and I am dying to move out. The problem is I cannot find a place and live by myself. If i get 1 roomate, i can definitely pay the rent. He tells me i should get a car instead. We live in NYC by the way. He says get a car not an apartment. Then he has a friend who's a girl who is looking for a place. I know her from school. He then calls her up and tells her that I am looking for a place too. I am like WTF.... that is not privacy at all. Even my other guy friend who i want to move in with... he tells me we definitely get a place once he finds a job tells him that that is not privacy. Privacy is when you have your own place or a place with your guy friend and you know your guy friend leaves then your date comes over xp. MY friend on the other hand thinks whats wrong with moving in with her? I am like in mind "Damn you have no clue"
I told him its because i want privacy. Being 21 and still living with parents in an apartment is not fun. My parents also go into my room and look through my stuff sometimes is completely wrong. My friend on the other hand says their your parents... they should be able to do that lol. He even admits that he goes into his parents room and look through their stuff. I mean wtf is wrong with him. Does he understand privacy? Hes almost 23 and still does that stuff.
I also gamble to make money b/c i dont have a job right now. He tells me i should quit b/c it doesnt look like i win much. I mean... my friend doesn't even have any money. He still ASKS his mom and dad for money to pay for food etc and he is almost 23. I would feel ashamed of doing that even now b/c every thing i buy now is with my own money.
He even rates girls real low when they are below average. He even says stuff like her body is good but with her face... theres no hope. I'm like WTF that is so rude. The other thing that bugs me is that he doesnt take care of himself. For instance, he has acne and my friend told me that he has had acne since he was 13. Everytime he goes out eating of course asking mommy and daddy for money, he keeps eating those junk food taht makes acne worst. I have a friend that knows who he is and made a joke that his face looks like a volcano and i did find that rude.
He told me that he tried those acne medications but it never worked. I do believe him but i also believe he didnt give it enough time. His acne is pretty severe. About 3 years ago, i started having moderate acne and had pimples on my face. Then 1 year ago i told myself i would avoid junk food and i remembered i didnt eat any of those pizza and fried food for over a year and my face got better.
Everyday he keeps on eating junk food and I always try to tell him to avoid it yet he doesnt care. he says then the food will taste like crap. I'm in my mind thinking.... Do you rather have acne forever or give up junk food. Because i gave up junk food and my face still has pimples occassionally and red marks but it isnt that noticeable.
He think most women are hot only if they have height, face and body yet he doesnt even take care of himself. He dresses pretty badly and doesnt even take care of his eating/junk food which makes his face have more pimples. He thinks its right my parents go into my room and look through my stuff when i am already 21. He puts people down like me when i dont make much money from gambling and say i should give it up when he doesnt even have a damn 50 dollars to his name that is HIS OWN MONEY.
Does anyone think he has some problems in his thinking?
