I have had this thought stir up my mind from time to time. I see certain couples on social media where the girl shows her boyfriend often or once in a while, sometimes intimate moments, sometimes not.

Does it mean a woman is proud of her partner when she shows him on social media, kind of like a "look what I got here" thing, or you find this unrelated to how proud and valuing she really is?

Proud of, has intense feelings for, or he is a very important part of her life…
Take your pick. Three is a winner…
Only three months up on the pic during 5 years of being with you is a loser.
Watch her actions.

Yeah she's likely into you and showing you off a bit. It's a good thing.

Its like a wedding ring......trying to put on a show to validate herself amongst her friends.

Disagree. IME #1 reason girls post you on SM is as a validation set piece.
#2 is to make her ex/guy who wouldn't commit jealous--Look, this guy comitted to me.
#3 Is to throw her bf off the trail for potential infidelity or appeal to his ego to manipulate him.

Reformed slvts post their boyfriends more on SM (girls with high SMV but low RMV)--part of their image reform, plus guys don't readily offer their commitment so it's an event. Personally, if I meet a girl with a bf, the more she posts about him the better my chances are; the ones in the strongest relationships usually don't have the need to advertise it a ton (it's fulfilling for them in and of itself).

I've found that any girl that's had me with her alone in her profile picture has normally been into me.

Women are extremelly social creatures so i'm betting on Yes.
Probably showing off the prize, or rubbing the guy into other girl's faces, something like that.

I tend to personally agree with @fastlife here, in fact. I think in most cases, it is just them trying to show off their prize. Never liked it when they do it also because it reduces the guy;s chances of dealing with other girls.

Could be...could be showing him off and really like the guy. Every situation is different

Some female comedian in some part of some routine on some video I saw described the "taking the man home to meet mom" scenario as:

"Hey! Look what I caught!"

So, yeah, maybe she's proud, but not the way most guys like to think.
