Im foreveralone and really havent been a socialable person since last semester of college. I still find it awkward sometimes talking to people and girls especially. I grew up pretty much sheltered and didn't go out much to be sociable with other people. My parents divorced and I lived with my dad and crazy stepmoms. I rarely saw my regular mom. My dad has been pretty much whipped by every woman and his life and bowed down to them. He actually blew my first experience with a girl and ive refused to talk to him about girls ever since. Most of my friends couldnt get girls so i never met girls through them or could talk about them to them. I didnt come here till I had my second experience with a girl my late senior year of high school. Just wanted to share this.

Same exact thing with me JPlaya.... My social life is completely GARBAGE, i blame that and my inexperience with girls on my parents. They're so strict and paranoid they always want me home, i can never get to go out and experience things like a normal teen should be doing. Whats worse is that i was raised by my mom so thats most likely why im an AFC right now. I didnt really have a father figure in my life so i guess this is why im so emotionally weak.

I agree, my parents were less strict on me, but I was paranoid to even mention a female name in my household. Also, hanging around with nerds affected me too.

I was raised in a mental asylum. Luckily, I can pick crazies out a mile away. Also, there were so many nurses, women have never scared me.

On the minus side, when it gets to the time of comparing notes on childhood, girls laugh...then realize I'm serious...then about half of them never see me again.

My parents were suuuuuuper strict, they never let me basically do anything it sucked. I had to sneak out of my house every night for like my entire junior and senior year. Literally I had to slide out of my bedroom window 100s of times, crazy. My parents ended up separating and that affects me even today. I know I have ended a couple relationships because I just didn't think it would last for some reason. Trying to avoid what they went through. Unfortunately love for me is a bond easily broken...
