Does anyone make squat stands with safety catches?

I'm going to be moving into an apartment soon and would like to purchase squat stands so I can squat with a barbell at home. I was thinking squat stands would be perfect because they can be stored in a smaller space when not in use, unlike a squat rack that is assembled in one large piece. However, I like to have safety catches when I'm squatting in case I fail on a rep.

Does anyone make squat stands with safety catches? I've only been able to find one company that carries something like this so far, but they're located in the UK.

If you find squat stances with safety catches, they will never be as safe as a power rack anyway. I could see the safety catches fall over if the weight is heavy enough.

Why would they fall over?

I saw a video of a guy squatting ~600 lbs with squat stands and they held up fine. The ones I've been looking at seem very sturdy and are made by reputable companies.

Weightlifters use squat stances, but they let the weight fall on the ground. If you'd heavy weight fall on the safety catches, the stances might fall over.

It's your apartment of course.

I don't plan on dropping the weight. What I usually do with the squat rack at my gym is set the safety catches at just above ass-to-ground height. Then if I rail on a rep, I just keep squatting down and sit back a little to rest the bar on the safety catches. It's been working fine so far on the few times I've had to do this. I just don't want to buy a squat rack because they take up a lot of space.
