Does anyone else find pubs/clubs really boring?

I like to go to the student bar and play pool thats cool but I find most nightlucbs corwded and I dont enjoy dancing. Most pubs are too busy and noisey also.

House parties can be fun.

Hosting parties is where you can really score - if you can get a crowd of 40+ to show up, and have a nice pad (and maybe some good food and wine).

Playing pool is also great - but you're right, bars with no purpose other than drinking are extremely boring, and it only makes it harder to meet women.

I suffered from severe agoraphobia in my later teens i tryed to meet and date the "quiet" girls but i always ended up at some crowded place or event like a concert, sporting event, or Six flags and i couldnt get past it for years. Therapy and meds can help but I still don't feel 100 percent

I guess you could argue that if there's a lot of good skirt in a bar, then by default it is not boring. However, just going and sitting there and talking about the same old crap with friends and there's hardly anyone in there = boring.

I do like it if a bar has a good dj, or band. That always livens it up a bit.

I love going to bars and clubs. But you aren't gonna have a good time if you are just sitting there. You gotta interact with people. Karaoke bars are fun, even though I don't sing at them. Great opportunities to bust on some chicks there. And generally, people that go to karaoke are a lot cooler/more open than a normal bar crowd.

My personal favorite are bars with a good DJ, cause I like to dance. But, they aren't always the best for pick-ups (loud/crowded).

Something is boring simply when it's not your environment.
If you were in a club with a male/female ration of 1:5 you would have def more fun simply because you wont be experiencing any stress or performance anxiety.

Instead when you go to a meat market where you are the meat to be evaluated no surprise you're having a bad time, you either like to dance or you either like to pretend to have fun as you are expected in that situation.

The loud music alone was more than enough to discourage me when I was a teen,house parties are the best even more if there's a garden outside.

I've had way more hookup success just doing school work in the cafe at Barnes & Noble on a Friday night than I've had in a club on a Friday night. Clubs just aren't for me, and I've come to realize that that is okay.

I always thought a CLUB was the true test of a DJ, someone who can be THEE alpha male in a club and get everyone wondering what hes all about .
