Does A Guy's Height matter??? (merged threads)

Wtf are you talking about man? I am 6'1.5 and get lots and lots of signs from girls.

Guys, I think height doesnt really matter, as long as you're not 3 feet tall. The main thing is proportion. For example, I weigh 220 pounds and growing(muscle). I've seen guys 4'6 who are better built than me, and they weigh about 140 pounds.

I read an article that said 80% of women prefer men who are 6 feet or taller. I do n't know where this lady got her information from and i do not really belive it anyways.

If this were true, 80% of the female population would be trying to mate with 20% of the male population. (only about 20% of males are 6 feet or over). From my observation, most males are between 5'8" and 5'10" here in the US.

If this were also true, i would have girls throwing themselves at me cause i am 6'0. I know and see plenty of guys 5'10" and under with chicks at their side. So much for that.............

Over 5'11" is ideal for women, however if you are at least 5'9" you should have no problem.

There is a fine line between what woman say they want and what woman needs.
Sure they all want tall dark and handsome stranger. But the roots to those wants are where the answer lies, thats if they really know what they want (From my experience woman are just as confused as men when it come to the wants and the needs department).

Their roots of their wants are their needs in many cases. For example the "want a tall man with strong arms", can be translated into a the "need to feel safer, need to feel like a woman".

Give her what she needs, in most cases a good bone that she can chew her hearts worth.
Sorry, I got carried away.

Course there is a whole library of things to note on this topic alone, but for most of the times "just making her feel safe in your arms can do a lot".

Hi

I am new to this forum. I am 2) and i have a question?

Someone told me in recent studies or something woman are only attracted to men between 5'10" and 6'2". Is this true? Or is was it woman find men between these heights most attractive....i could not remember which one. I am worried because i am only 5'8.

Yes I'm kidding. For starters 5'8" isn't that short, I'm pretty sure that's about average. Second, use what you were given and don't let your height get to you and the women won't even notice. That is confidence, and when you have it... you won't care what your height is, and neither will the girl you're boinking....

The last I saw the U.S. male height was 5'9". Most women really only care if you are taller than them. The average height of women was 5'4" (I think).

Every time I go to a club these days I see HB's with really short guys, some shorter than the girls themselves. I think, height is overblown to a certain extent. 5-8 isn't that short and is about average. Just be happy you are average in height and not some little runt. I say if you are shorter than 5-6 than you start having problems because the pool of women who are shorter than you becomes smaller. Hey Tom Cruise and Mel Gibson are no beanstalks and weren't they voted sexiest men alive?

I believe Tom is 5'7" and Mel is 5'8". Not bad for a bunch of "midgets".

I'm just over 5'8", and I think when I wear shoes I'm actually quite close to 5'10". Most shoes these days have 1- 1.5 inch, or even 1.75 inch soles.

I'm 5-7 and don't have any problems with height. I DID at one point but that was because I was the one with a problem about it. Once you get over it and realize that confidence is key, height won't matter.

I'm also pretty thin. And I have THE thinnest wrists I have ever seen. That is no exaggeration. So when I wear a T-shirt I look even thinner. For YEARS I had HUGE hang up about this. I finally got over it and now I don't give a shiet. I'm sure girls know how thin I am when they see me, how could they not notice? hehe. But since i don't have a problem with it it's never been an issue. Thin girls, thick girls, curvy girls, ahtletic girls, tall, short whatever, ever since I got past my "insecurity" evertyhing has been gravy and it's relatively easy to attract girls of varying heights,looks and stature. One time I had this girl say, "OMG! You're wrists are sooo small. Damn, you have some skinny ass wrists. They are the smallest I've ever seen." And she began to hold her arms up next to mine. This was the first time we had ever gone out, hahah. I just replied, "Nah, you just have some fat wrists. Look at them, you've got some meat on you.".(she had averge sized arms but I was just busting on her, haha). She said, "NO way! You are just really thin. And can't believe you said I was fat!!". I replied, "Yeah, I'm thin but since you're "big-boned-ed" it just seems like I'm smaller than I am. I think you may want to have a doctor check you out. I mean, you've got wrists like an elephant!". I started busting up after that and she had this hurt look on her face. I told her, "Oh shut up. If you give it, you better be ready to get it back." Then I laughed again. hahah. Well, after that night she kept calling me and wanting to see me.

So be confident and comfortable with your body. So FEW people are actually ok with their body. IF YOU ARE, you'll stand out. And everyone digs a man with confidence.

Come to think of it Shadow Dancer, I have skinny ass wrists too. I mean REALLY THIN wrists! I have o.k. musculature, but I guess I'm just very small boned. I can touch my middle finger with my thumb when I put my hands around my wrist, can you believe that? lol. I feel that I sometimes come off as "limp-wristed" (like a gay dude) because my wrists are so thin. Aack.

I guess I still have a small complex about that, as I obssessively workout my forearms to make them look thicker.

Anyway, I'm coming to terms with the fact that I have a light bone structure. I'm just glad that I can relate to you.
