dodgy period: Help/opinion

ive been reading these forums for over a year now, and like im sure most of the people who when they first read, were amazed about life's posibilities and what yourself is capable of. after 3 or 4months of reading i began to see big results, for almost the first of 9-12 months of dj action i was seen as "too arrogant" by tons of girls (literally every1 i knew ) though my honest opinion is that i pushed it too far and was edging on being a jerk.
so late last year i decided to "clean up" so to speak. i toned down my attitude slightly and tried to be the halowed "good guy" as Pook well puts in his many posts.
everything since then has been good, but come the start of May i felt my confidence slip. not sure why, but it did and to quote Nine Breaker in his post 'To anyone who lacks confidence':

Once you start to feel confident you have to use it straight away, or it will disappear before you can benefit from it.

i feel this is very true.
there has been several times over the last month, were i feel as if my knowledge that ive learned from here has been wiped away. im still pulling girls, but im wanting my arrogance level to sky-rocket again. like it did last year.

i hope its just a phase!

anybody else been through something simliar?

Yea there has been times when I have felt like my confidence has gone down. I have been going to this sight for may be 6 months now but now and then I see my confidence level going back and forth. What gives me confidence all over again is coming back to this web site and reading up on new technique to try and see if they work for me. I remember why i am doing and try as hard as I can not to turn back into the wussie person I was before. Just remember to consentrate on positive things that you have done because this what brings you much confidence. Find new challenges and see if you can conquer them. Okay that is all i have to say

You're not the only one. When I first started reading here a couple of months ago I immediatly felt a big surge in confidence and attitude. But then I got sidetracked a bit and seem to have lost it slightly. Hopefully over time it will cement itself to a mroe permanent state.
