Talk about being a DJ...

My friend, age 22, just got into medical school. As a gift, his parents by him a brand new ML Mercedes SUV. Spoiled brat.

Now, hes a pretty good lookin guy and he got girls before he got accepted, but now when everyone and anyone finds out he's gonna be a doctor, they are all over him!! They flock to him as if he was Jesus! I hate this i can't go anywhere with him without feeling inferior.

Every girl that I know.. that knows him.. wants him.

When we drive in his new car he gets looked at.. by everyone.

As a side job, he works at a strip club... every dancer and bartender wants to bone him. Especially when they found out about his acceptance.

On top of everything else he wants to do plastic surgery. Think about how many girls are gonna be on top of him then!!

The point of this post is... it pays to be smart about things especially when it comes to women. This guy knew he had to commit himself during college if he wanted the respect and the hoes in the future... and now everything is coming to fruition at such a young age because of his past hard work. I wish I could go back and do something like this!

Duh.

I didn't know chicks wanted a to-be doctor with a mercedes.

I also didn't know superstars and politicians get laid too.

The chicks still want him for status and money only.

Do you know how you could disarm him? Push him into marriage :D

Yes, most chicks hear "doctor" and think $$CHA-CHING!!$$

BUT some women are attracted to doctors or pre-med (or lawyers/pre-law) because it shows that the person is smart, hardworking and determined. Sometimes that is really attractive.

Personally, while I am attracted to intelligence... I'm more into *creative* types... artists, writers, etc... (Now, I don't limit myself at all... I've dated guys from all walks of life: from stockbrokers to construction workers to musicians......etc.....) I still definitely can see how someone who can make it as far as medical school is definitely going somewhere because of their hardwork. That is an admirable quality. It's not necessarily about money.

Although it usually is. :D

But let's go over the facts here...
Goodlooking
Mercedes
Pre-Med

Geeee.... he gets mad chicks? shocking.

True...

Thirteenthstep, what you need to do is discuss marriage on a regular basis with your doctor buddy.

I can't agree.

Approx 95% of all students graduate from med-school.
There are no unemployed doctors(generalization to prove a point)

If she marries him now, in 8 years she's gonna be rich. This makes him desirable.

Another thing...

he told me the most minimum amount a physician can make is 80K a year if you do family practice, never start a private practice, and work for a hospital.

His dad, A Gastrointerologist, with a private practice, only works 2 days a week and is on vacation at least once every 2 months... makes GOD ONLY KNOWS HOW MUCH.

And to make matters worse, this kid is not humble by any means... whenever anyone asks him why he wants to be a doctor he answers "MONEY POWER RESPECT."

Whatever happened to helping people??

Hey, I don't want to be player hating. However, bear this in mind. During the lengthy stay in medical school, your buddy is going to be barely able to afford that Mercedes unless daddy is footing the bill. Med School is not cheap, even if your parents are loaded.

My brother is a doctor - the only thing I hear from him is how miserable insurance companies and lawyers make his job. Sure, he earns around 200 + K, but that's just gross pay. His malpractice is around 90K, plus he says he has to have his hands and head insured as well, because if something happens, he'll be out of luck.

I congratulate your friend on his hard work, but I regret to say, he has to finish before he makes the big cash. The first time someone dies under his care, it'll be interesting to see if he still wishes to be a physician.

Maybe that will make you feel a little bit better.

use this to your advantage and hang out with him and say u r thinking about getting into pre-med - many pre-med students dont become doctors - pre-med means pre-med - so what

does he carry his mercedes on his back??? the girls that see him in his mercedes are moving past him at 40 mph!

99% of your time is spent away from your car

new girls u meet r away from your vehicle so this has 0 impact - unless she is HO and cares about what she is seen in

girls care with what guy they r seen with not with what car

strip club hos and bartenders screw many men - most r not pre-med most do not have mercedes and most r not good-looking - they r freaks and have low standards - obviously - look at their condition

I noticed a similar "response" when I
was in graduate school (MBA). But I think
that response from girls had more to do with my being overflowing with self-confidence and ambition. I had a really cheap car and
I didn't have much money.
Med School is a great accomplishment, and
hopefully people go into it for the right
reasons. But, many MD's work insane hours
and have more responsiblity than I'd like
to have. Even at 200K I'm not sure they're
paid enough.

13 what you need to do is stop being such a jealous sucka and dont try to sabotage your boys game (like it would work anyway  ).

Like others said, use it to your advantage. What are you complaining about? You get to roll in your friends benzo and obviously it seems like the guy has connections in the strip club, he could hook you up. Its not like he's going to fucc every girl that wants him.

And to make matters worse, this kid is not humble by any means... whenever anyone asks him why he wants to be a doctor he answers "MONEY POWER RESPECT."
Like your so damned noble.

Exactly... My sister is a premed also... You forgot to mention residency... They just had to pass a law in new york that says you can't make a resident work over 80 hours a week... before that they were pushing them to like 135 hours a week just because they're cheap... It's not fun and glamourous while you are a premed. ~Zappa
