So, the paperwork is all in for the house, so if all goes well, I will have a house by Friday!

As for the site, I took today to work on a very cool tool. It's the beginnings of my administation panel for moderators and administrators! If I want to edit multiple users at once, or persay, mass edit many articles onscreen, the power will come. It is from here that user administration will start to take shape, where I can reset passwords, manually do the email activation, or change profile settings. I've also hidden email addresses (will be open only by user selection), didn't even bother displaying passwords (since they are encrypted), and I made it quick and easy to select people. Soon to come will be some search tools, so I can search for all un-activated email addresses, force change some settings, or even search for words that aren't nice.

I also removed the create/delete table scripts, it gives everyone a chance to test this out for themselves, activation and such.

I think the email notification dies, it may or may not be sending out, it just sits there after submittion going...duhhhhhhmmmmm. Yeah, I'll look into it.

After today, it's back to packing -_-. Enjoy looking at the tool, it should become better soon!

I have a receiver for a remote (streamzap if you must). Combined with the program "Girder", I can use the receiver and any remote. I bought some remote from a big bin, $4, and I have it controlling Winamp. ^^,

Just a thought to power-users.

Sorry about the lack of updates.

I'm in Kingston now, and I don't have the internet in my room to start re-uploading, (and I need the internet for certain know-hows). I don't know how long it'll be until I'm happy, but hopefully it'll be soon.

I worked on the site locally however, and I got articles almost set up, and I'm putting notes all over the place. But, I ruined my JavaScript, so I have to re-download my file (which of course I can't -_-), so I'll soon come to a roadblock maybe..?!

It's coming along good, I'm going to start to knock off a lot of the crap (such as useless links, and fixing stuff up, and 'maybe' doing layout?

Lots to come, I'll update again when I upload the newest stuff.

It's in a state of development, there is no realy layout, except for pure simplicity. As for backgrounds, I will try to add in the option later for user customizeable display (css) (read the todo), so you can have that background. keep in mind the basic layout I'll have to define will have to be visually acceptable and suitable for all ages, so Playboy will be your personal preference

Please keep suggesting ideas, comments, problems.

The newest version is a lot better tweaked, so you probably won't have to resize your browser window.

Where are you going to get the articles from? Just from people adding in? You're going to need some publicity..

People won't bother to rate the articles unless they really care about them (i.e. if they think they're great articles) - like in the Tips forum. So you'd need some sort of stick and carrot to get people to rate articles, I think.

Not necessarily, if what anyone codes is on a solid foundation, and the time is taken to properly do it, and test it, then a complex system is no more faulty then a simple one. And dont' kid yourself, the simpliest things can go wrong too.

I'll write some myself, and there will be light advertisement, but it really would have to be a 'pass this onto your friends', or 'there's a damn good article here'. But, once this simple barrier (eh?!) is over, it's a roll-over effect.

Do you know I can code in a simple 'Do you want to rate this article' when you reply to it if you forgot. The constant reminder gets people in the mindset that if the article is really worthwhile, or presents a good point, rate the damn thing !

It's been a while. I haven't had the time or energy to really throw anything new into the site, but I have my groundwork for anytime, anywhere updates.

I've also studied a little bit into how I could make the website look and feel better, not only from a user's POV, but also for the administrator and anyone that moderates.

There's a lot to do, and it's hard to do the on/off thing. I'm going on trips to New York, Montreal, back home, etc soon, and weight lifting is a big thing I have to start. That's why I haven't been able to really do much, and I'm terribily sorry.

Let's hope I can update more!
