Hit The Gym!!

Yes its true dang it. Yes yes i know its been said here many times before but ive experienced this FIRST HAND and i now know the difference between my appearence before and after and the amount of attention / looks i get.

I was a skinny runt ( as DIESAL puts it ) and now im not skinny. Im getting BIGGER and BIGGER! and its amazing!

This is what i experienced now that i have a bigger , broader physique.

Today, as i was walking out of the train station, i saw a HB6-7 walking opposite me. She was checking me out and was trying to make eye contact so i made eye contact with her. As soon as she our eyes locked, she glanced away and locked eyes once again., ie giving double looks..never happend in my skinny days. Could've opened her with something like

"hey its rude to stare:D"
or

"Dont just look ;)"

but nah...

Then later on i saw a sexy black lady hb7-8 (unfortunatley she had a kid infront of her) again she turned her head + checked me out, she looked me up and down until i caught her and she glanced away. That never happend when i was skinny..

Then when i was about to catch my train a goth teenager looked straight at me NON STOP until i walked straight passed her. She looked 17-18 tops..thats outta my age range ( im 25 )

anyway the point is dudes, get your azzes in the gym! it really pays off. Work out hard and you will look and feel better.

Apart from every other muslce,I work on shoulders and chest alot. Aint nothing better than a nice pair of broad shoulders and wide thick chest.

Squat to get nice quads and a nice tight butt. Chicks dig tight butts more than anything.

Having a better body works wonders, im attracting attention and i havent even spit any game yet!. Imagine what would happen if conversate with the chick and spit all the pimp Dj skills that ive learned from the masters here.

I had a new female client the other day admit to me she wasn't really considering buying anything from me, but when I met her in person she noticed I had nice shoulders and it made her feel like listening to me (as if that should have anything to do with anything!). It suddenly hit me that as I've been getting bigger my sales have been increasing significantly, esp among females. Part of that is the confidence boost I exude but it's definitely looking a lot more masculine that's helping.

I've gained about 15 lbs of lean mass over the summer, nowhere near my goals yet. Can't wait to see how the progression continues to impact things. As the one "skinny guy" Pook thread says, society lets big guys be louder, more crude, and get away with more. I'm finding this to be very true.

Someone on here not too long ago said that muscles on a guy are like breasts on a woman. Great comparison! So true.

It's been proven by study after study. People who are in shape are more likely to be hired and promoted.

It's simple physics really. The better shape you are in, the harder and longer you can perform at work. I've had a number of employeers mention how I "never get tired" and how I get "more work done than anyone else".

Unfortunately, most guys think that that's all there is to it.

A lot of guys make the mistake of feeling like they have to become Mr. Universe before they will ever become successful with women.

Going to the gym is a great thing, yes, but it's not the only thing. Becoming good looking is NOT going to get you to all of a sudden become good with women overnight, it's how you CARRY yourself.

I have noticed that as Americans got fatter, clothing sizes for men seem to have gotten larger as well. I switched to medium shirts from large, and it actually makes a huge difference in how I look. A large makes me look skinny. This is one of David D'd little tips. Plus, I am noticing that many men's shirts are made of stretchy material that makes it easier to wear a smaller size.

If you're only working out for women then you're going to stay as far away from the gym as possible.
Gymgoers that are only motivated by horniness or bragging rights don't last long. The guys that suffer 24/7 for the body of a Greek god can do that only because it's overridingly important to them. Not only do you have to want muscles more than comfort and ease, but you've got to want them for YOU, not for HBs.

Exactly, those guys are posers. Since I'm an athlete and I love sports (namely Basketball) I do it because I like the way I look and feel. I don't give a sh*t what girls think, they can think what they want.

Ye i agree, great advice. Hitting the gym and looking better help because it sorts out a lot of those insecurities and inner game problems. You feel more confident and your body language improves as you get better posture and walk more confidently. An alpha male is supposed to be a strong male and appearing strong makes you instantly more attractive. Big forearms, big shoulders, chest and back. I fell like a piece of meat now ever since I have been hitting the gym and it feels great!!

I've been hitting the gym regularly for about a year now. Unlike a lot of ppl here I actually started out really big. Now after building up a lot of upper body muscle I'm tryin to cut down on a lot of this annoying fat.

For sure man. I've been a rower for a little over 2 years now, started out just to get in shape. I can vouch for the fact that you can't keep working out hard if you don't personally love it. Getting in good shape should definatly be something you do for yourself, past that just enjoy what comes with it.

I dont remember who said this but I will give you this quote by a very muscular guy...

"Whenever I walk into a bar or club, I know that 75 percent of the women there will despise me on the spot, and 25 percent will want to bang me on the spot."

so for quick flings and short-term relationships, a nice body will take you far, but your character and personality is vital to maintain a LTR.

Shi-t, I think these days just being in shape will get you far.... dam-n near 75% of the population or somethin like that is obese, so if you're thin, you in. The only thing sad about getting muscular is that most guys who do it do it because they think that is the only way to get women, but they have nothing else going for them because all their attention is on getting buff. Furthermore, their confidence is actually pretty low because they are always trying to get more and more muscle. Guess what though? Go to the gym on valentine's day, a day when men are supposed to be out with women, and you'll see PLENTY of muscular men in there working out, because they have no dates. By all means, tone your body up, put muscle on if it pleases you, but BE HAPPY with who you already are, or you'll never be confident.

Good point on the clothing. It pis-ses me off that all the clothes nowadays are made for fu-cking 300 pounders, so it is hard for a skinny guy to find good clothes that fit well. Even the collars and openings for the head are huge for people with huge-ass heads and necks. I have found that Abercrombie offers the absolute best fit for thin guys like myself. I wear it not for the name or status (I don't like the name), I wear it for how it fits. The muscle shirts fit really well, but I suggest that if you like a more "classic" fit, buy a size LARGER than what you normally wear, because the shirts are pretty small. So like I wear a small in everything else, but I buy a medium in Abercrombie. I am 130 lbs, btw, just for reference.

I've always wondered why some guys just love sports and exercise and can't get enough of them and other guys (like me) hate it. It's always seemed like the athletic mentality is just as genetic as things like height and build.

You know what though, I was browsing manhaters.com just for the hel-l of it, and I came upon a poll women had taken regarding muscles. I forget the exact percentages, but around 75% of the women didn't care much about muscles, as long as the guy's other qualities were attractive. Some of the women posted that they hated those men who became obsessed with muscle and did nothing but work out. Now, I'm not saying it is bad to have muscle, but if that's all you think it takes to get women (and KEEP them), you're in trouble. A woman can spot a "tryhard" when she sees one.

Meh, I get your point but, f*ck what they think, I couldn't care less what women thought about me.
