A young maiden comes onto the adult dating scene as a high sexual market item, getting obvious attention from all men, young or older. The invitations for dating are never ending, so it is no big thing to reject or otherwise "only accept if there is absolutely nothing better to do" when an average status man gives an invitation. And with such a man, she is not on her best behavior, and certainly is not very sexually receptive - unless she happens to be in a dry period, and this guy, although not good enough for her to think she's done well, is at least somewhat good enough for her to have release sex - and it certainly won't be regular.
She mainly waits for her chance for a high status male to give her such an invitation (and of course, she will entice such a high status male to get the invitation - even basically inviting him for a get together.) When she gets her chance with the high status male, she knows that there are other women like her who are also trying to get him, so she takes the totally opposite attitude with him - she is on her best behavior, and is much more sexually receptive to his advances (trying to give him the best "girlfriend experience" she can, giving fellatio, *******, anal, etc., so as to put herself higher on his totem pole.) Unlike when she dates the aforementioned schlub, she is receptive on a regular basis to the high status male's sexual advances.
This woman has the dating M.O. as long as she can without interrupting her mating schedule, in which she figures she needs to settle down and start pumping out kids before it's too late (unfortunately for some women, their idea of "too late" is actually a little too late - hence all the fertility clinic business to coax out a kid out of the 35-40 y.o. woman.) While in this waiting period, she may try to have an "accident" with one of her high status beaus, so as to put herself at the top of his totem pole; this will only be attempted if she thinks that this particular male is responsible or wealthy enough so that she can rely on 18 years of support, whether as a husband, or the baby-daddy.
Then at the time when she feels like settling down, she draws a lower line of acceptability with the schlubs she has always had the chance with, and basically treats these men somewhat like the aforementioned high status male (i.e., there will be more receptivity to sex, etc., but probabaly only vaginal, etc.) If not successful, she will gradually lower that standard until some man meets the standard, and then she marries. If she lowers her standards at lower rate than the decline of her sexual market value, then she starts to moan about there "not being any real men around", and starts her cat collection.
Even while married to the schlub, she is somewhat on the lookout to replace him with a high status male, if one were to come around. If she perceives that she has a good chance at a particular high status male, she will consider, subject to her ethics and morality, and any possible consequences, pursuing an affair with him, and dumping her husband if the new beau wants to marry her. Obviously she will sex this new beau, but most women would do so carefully (i.e., to avoid pregnancy), although some women, especially those who think that they have married a "loser", could very well intentionally let the new man get her pregnant to both rope him in, or if not possible, at least have the child of a high status male that she would pass as her husband's child. However, if the woman has high ethics, she would do what she feels is the most ethical (as far as being ethical can be consonant with "till death do us part") and divorce her schlub, trying to make him feel as though he wants to divorce her (mainly accomplished by keeping her legs closed), or if that doesn't work, by just announcing, "I just don't *feel* I want to stay in this marriage."
What do you think? Accurate?
