Do you think catcalling should be part of street game?

I was looking at this article about a maiden who has decided to take selfies of herself and all the men that have been catcalling her:

https://www.yahoo.com/news/woman-takes-selfies-her-catcallers-191906439.html

It shows confidence, and it an easy action to take - if the woman does not respond positively, it's not like you had a chance with her in the first place. I mean look at the ugly men who at least have been getting noticed by this woman. Now of course, *this* woman is not being responsive, but that doesn't mean that all women would not be.

Nah don't catcall, 99% of women will respond negatively and think you're a pig.

But I have had positive responses from women in a car next to me at a red light.

If you smile and wave you get a good reaction and also if they are playing loud music just look at them and sing along to it in a comical way lol. Hasn't failed me before and half the time the girls roll down their windows and start talking to me.

Haven't done this often but something COULD come out of it.

But one time I was trying to get a girl to roll down her window so I could ask her for directions because I was lost af. She ended up giving me a dirty look and looked forward for the duration of the red light LOL.

No it comes off as desperate. Would Channing Tatum catcall?

Women are beginning to respond more and more negatively to guys who recognize them for their looks. Just look at instagram. If you comment on her looks, you will automatically be placed in orbiter status.

Game these days involves not acknowledging her looks at all and showing her you're above her in the food chain.

I'll whistle at a woman from afar, but I don't consider that cat calling. When I'm with my friends they always freak out and go all "WTF are you cat calling for so disrespectful". It's part of the game. Fvck that's how birds get each other's attention, it's the call of the wild. If you get offended go cry to momma

Just smile and wave. Nothing more, and nothing less. If she mirrors you, then strike up a conversation.

This kind of situation demonstrates why the 'approach for approach's sake' is wrong. For even if you get attention [for its own sake], you definitely do NOT want negative attention. This women is obviously a feminist, and making a blanket point about the amount of leering and cat-calls she receives.

As @skinnyguy pointed out, this is becoming a cultural issue unfortunately thanks to feminism. They will take obnoxious behavior and then try to paint all public approaches as examples of that.

Men need to get smarter, not meeker as the feminist wants. They need to know who to approach, when to approach, and why they approach, if they are aspiring to be a DJ.

Funny... I'm part Latino and grew up in Latin America in the 70's... Cat calling was just part of game. You have to be smooth, fun and original (not crude or rude)... Most women back then would like it... Oh well....
