Do you think a normie-tier man could attract women by being notably selfless for his community?

This hero had donated plasma 1173 times over his lifetime.

Of course, he was from an era when normies could get women easily , but I wonder if a normie-tier lad of today could become proficient in doing something like this (or anything else selfless) and attract decent women. Or would even Becky-tier chicks think of him like, "Tee-hee, I wouldn't let them jab my arm like that"?

Yes, this was my first impression. That said, getting super famous for doing this would probably work - not for doing the selfless work, but from the fame from doing it.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Think about social status, one of the more effective ways to be regarded as attractive. How do you acquire it if you're not giving? Who will back you up if you haven't done sh!t for them? Who will regard you as being of value if you have given none?

You need to give to some degree to gain the favor of others, that favor is a resource in itself, but not one you can gain by being selfish.

Combine this giving with conditions/boundaries and you've got power. You have something others want and are willing to give it, but not unconditionally.

This encapsulates what women like in a man. Not just acquiring resources, but being able to share those resources.

Think about what a good leader is, someone genuinely looked up to by most and that women are almost automatically attracted to because of that status. Is that a selfish assh0le whose primary concern is to acquire resources for himself? No, it's someone who really cares for the group he feels responsible for.

The only two ways to have others (men or women) regard you as someone of value is either for you to provide something of value to them or fool/lie to them. The latter option is temporary as it's always just a matter of time until they realize they're fooled, it will also seriously hurt the chances of gaining favor through the honest path.

Sure, women like resources, but the greatest resource is a bunch of people having your back and you won't get that without giving.

Jordan Peterson and Scott Galloway think so.
