"Do you play any sports?"

Girls always seem to ask me if I play sports.

I used to be a "computer guy" and never really had any hobbies besides playing piano. I'm pretty bad in every sports, so what should I answer when a girl asks me that?

If you workout you can say this:

'Nah, i visit the gym instead. Saves time and this way all my muscles get exercised.'

But dude, some sort of physical exercise / sport is a must. So if you don't play a sport you should be workin out (if you're old enough)

i get the same thing, I'm 6' 4" so everyone asks me if I play basketball. But I'm not on the team and I usually tell them the backround story. When I was just a freshman I was only 5' 7". It can create interest, by means of disbelief. People don't think that just 3 years ago, I could've possibly been 9" shorter than I am right now. Then I bust out a transition, the classic "enough about me, what sports do you play?"

So just make up something like "I used to wrestle, but I messed up my shoulder and can't do it anymore." This creates interest because the girls might see it as very masculine that you were injured doing something macho like wrestling.

If youre gonna make something up...be creative, none of that uhh...basketball/ football/ or whatever. Professional mini golfer, go fish, or that you wrestle lions, tigers and bears. Im sure you get the idea.

Because you don't comform to what a girl wants... you do what makes you happy!

Plus, you can lie and say you lift weights or run every day. HOw would they find out? Who even cares?

Oh wrestling is tough. 2 men, one MAN. I used to play football too. A 6 minute wrestling match takes more from your body than an entire game. Its one of the most physically and mentally demanding sports out there.

And for the original poster, I am a computer guy. But that doesnt effect my ability to pick up women. Just find a couple more hobbies. Find something a guy friend does, but you dont, and try it out.

Oh, and if a girl is shallow enough to judge you by whether you play sports or not, she isnt worth the time.
